Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Home is beautiful and had everything we could have needed or asked for. The river was perfect for the grandkids to play in and explore. The checkin email was precise and had all the information we needed for a great stay. Grandkids already wanting to come back next year!

Gorgeous cabin and great location. Bruce promptly answered any questions I had. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

We had a great time staying at this well equipped home on the river. There were games for the kids, both indoors and outside, the house was clean and comfortable, and the river was just a short stroll in the backyard. Fun was had by the whole family! Would recommend to anyone.

This was an amazing cabin and wonderful stay. Super close to Ellijay and apple picking even though you could honestly stay right at the cabin and have plenty to do. Tons of fun games in the basement, hot tub, fire pit, chill views from the upper deck, and our favorite part - the fabulous river steps from the back door. The cabin was very well appointed with everything we needed and immaculately cleaned when we arrived. 10/10 recommend.

*Highly recommended*If you are looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, slow down, recharge, and find yourself again, this is the place! Cell and internet service can be spotty; we did not care, it was our goal to be detached. This home is quiet and surrounded by nature and wildlife. It is secluded at the end of the road yet close enough to town to obtain essentials and groceries. (Walmart will even deliver.) We stopped at Rally Point Grille on our way in and loved the food. While you will be secluded, there are a few neighbors who are quiet and keep to themselves. Keep in mind, if you take your dog, there is no fenced yard for them; they will need to be on leash whenever they’re outside. Everything was clean and in working order with the exception of a couple of door locks that need attention and was shared directly with the property owner. The home was just as described. Enjoyed sitting on the back deck and hearing the river in the quiet of the morning. You can fly fish or take a short drive to Blue Ridge for fishing or shopping. Orchards are plentiful. The owners were very communicative and answered questions promptly. They obviously care about and take pride in their property… We were sad to leave and wished we had a few extra days; however, we will definitely be adding this to our travel rotation!

Great location and beautiful property!

We loved our stay here! The cabin was beautiful and the property was so peaceful and gorgeous. Loved being on the river. And it was nice that if we needed to run out to get something it wasn’t a tedious drive. Paved roads all the way to cabin! The only reason I’m gave 4 stars instead of 5 was we never found an attachment to the coffee maker to be able to use ground coffee, and there was no hair dryer to be found as we were told was supplied. But those were very minor hiccups. Otherwise, WONDERFUL! We’ll be back!

This property was perfect for our family get-away. We didn’t have many reasons to leave, because the home/river had so much to offer. The home is really really spacious and we had plenty of room to stretch out. Hosts were quick to respond. The property is dog friendly and my pup loved being there. Be aware, apparently the neighbor has a strong aversion to dogs. She was screaming across the yard to tell us to put a leash on my dog.. in the wilderness? And he never left the property. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The cabin was perfect for our family reunion. There was plenty of room inside and outside. The kids loved the game room. The kitchen is well stocked. The hot tub is huge. Bruce was very responsive. A minor problem, a call to Bruce, and the problem was fixed faster than I thought possible. We would definitely stay in Shine again.

This home was exactly what was advertised. We were extremely happy with this place. The privacy and quietness was true perfection to a great vacation.
