Unwind in South Lake Tahoe at our lovely home-- Located directly on Trout creek meadow close to town with direct access from to endless hiking and bike trails, including the main paved path in town, local ice rink, 9 hole golf course, a 27 disc golf course and parks/picnic areas.

Mountain Meadows Retreat is located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe nestled away on a quiet neighborhood street directly sitting on Trout creek meadow. The backyard view is of Heavenly mountain range and Freel Peak (viewable from living room too). The house sleeps 8 comfortably. There’s a maximum of two adults for each room with the allowance of one to two children for a total of 8 people per day. Looking to stay a bit longer and Work from home while in Tahoe? Enjoy fast internet and plenty of places to set up an office. There is a large dining area that seats 6, a bar that seats 3, 2 living rooms (one with sectional couch), a game table with 6 chairs downstairs, 2 large televisions, a new gas grill, outdoor furniture and a hammock. There are 3 bedrooms, one very large master with king bedroom, jetted soaking tub, 2 sinks and a huge walk in shower. The upstairs kitchen has all the things one would need and is open to the living room and gas fireplace. The gas grill is upstairs and there is a back porch and sliding glass door off the living room. The downstairs has a big living room with sectional couch, game table with chairs, 2 rooms with queen beds, a trundle bed and a full bathroom. There is a 2 car garage with garage door opener for your convenience.

Our central location makes your vacation easy---located only 1 mile from the lake, 2 miles from Heavenly Village, the Gondola and casinos. It is 1.5 miles to a 24 hour Safeway grocery store and Whole Foods. The house sits directly on a large meadow with spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and Heavenly ski resort, There is a meandering creek that runs through it and a main bike path that can take you anywhere it town. You can walk just out our back gate or head to the main hiking and biking paths just off the side of the house that lead to a 9 hole public golf course, large family picnic areas, playgrounds, skate park, basketball courts and a 27 hole frisbee golf course. The trails and bike paths connect directly to town. Take a quick stroll to the creek where you can very easily spot beavers building their dams or other wildlife in the area. Raegan Beach is just 1.5 miles away and Camp Richardson just under 4 miles. The choices are endless for your vacation!
