The house is literally right behind the Danforth stop on the New Jersey light rail. The house is a beautiful older 2 story home that has been remodeled. All 3 rooms and 2 full bathrooms are upstairs. The downstairs half bath is with the washer and dryer. Very convenient.

My Girl Scout Troop stayed here and it was perfect! The owner was very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to drop off our luggage after our early flight before heading into NYC. The location is perfect as it is close to the Danforth Ave station, making it easy to get around! There was plenty of room for all of us! We would definitely stay again!

This was a great place that gave our large family the ability to stay together in one place while also enjoying the city. Everything is up to date and they hosts are response to needs. A few things to note: 1. It is only steps from the train. You can see the train pass by from the kitchen window so that is really convenient. But it is really more like 60 minutes to take the NJ train and then transfer to the Port Authority train which gets you into the city. That has nothing to do with the host or the property it is just reality of the location. 2. If anyone in your group has mobility issues this may be a challenge. You have to take stairs into the house and all of the showers are on the second floor. There is a 1/2 bath of the first floor but not a shower.

Beautiful house, I loved that the train station was steps away and that it has its own parking. It was very comfortable and cozy and big enough for a family of 5. Communication was horrible. The host takes days to respond and didn’t give me the access code to enter the rental. I had to reach out to her and even at that, she was not responding. It wasn’t until I reached out to Vrbo. However, she was fast to send me the check-out instructions. I also reached out to her on my second day with a question and she didn’t respond until the next day.

This is a nice property. At first, the property seems like it’s in a sketchy neighborhood but you’ll come to realize that the area is just fine. I would stay again and that’s saying something.
