Our stay at this lovely riverside retreat was fantastic. The entire place was tidy and it was stocked with everything needed for a simple stay. We loved having easy access to the river and space to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We are already hoping to make this a yearly retreat!

This place is a dream! We were here for a wedding weekend and coming back to this spot was just what we needed. The river is beautiful and so lush. Everything was smooth and easy!

The host was very communicative and responsive — we had a minor issue and they responded and came to the house right away to resolve it! The house was very clean and stocked with an abundance of linens and pillows. And the view is lovely! It was very cozy and relaxing!

Very clean and comfortable. Close to great wineries and breweries. Hand rail on entrance steps needs to be upgraded.

The house needs a better cleaning. There was dirt on top of the base boards and spider webs in the corners. There was no can opener available which really hampered our dinner plans on the evening of check in. Some of the window blinds were broken. There was poison oak all around the steps leading to the dock.

Needed a place to stay during the Easter weekend while visiting family. I found that this house was perfectly neutral to every where I needed to go, winchester, Leesburg, harpers ferry. River view was fantastic, and gave me a bunch of nostalgia from growing up along the Shenandoah myself. House was very clean, kitchen was equipped with various pots and pans (which made making the cake i promised for easter easier), bathroom was a little on the warm side, but leaving the door open helped cooled it off. When/if i need a quick place to rent back home, I’ll be looking to book here again.

The place was fine, although a little small than we were expecting. The kitchen wasn’t ideal for cooking. I liked how the property wasn’t on a busy road. The stairs were not suitable for my elderly father, but we did see the pictures of them so that’s on us. Otherwise it was cozy

Very nice home and beautiful setting on the river. Had everything we needed for our stay. Very quick response and solution with the host!we would certainly travel to this home again!
