The cabin is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. My parents once lived on Loon Lake, and my siblings now reside in Fargo, Grand Forks, and Minneapolis. This allowed us to visit with everyone. This is a beautful cabin and is furnished with what a cook would need. The host was very good about getting back to us and answering our questions. We went to find the trolls, which was great. Lunch at the Loon Cafe, Dinner at Spankies. The best part was watching the sun come up. Definitely a place to stay.

Loon Lake Paradise

This beautiful lake home exceeded our expectations! We especially enjoyed using the kayaks, fire pit, pool table and the ability to have a rented pontoon delivered to us. The fishing on Loon Lake was great and of course, we loved hearing the loons at night. The property is very well maintained and we can’t wait to return!

Our grandkids call this the log mansion. We had a great time…even celebrated a small wedding for our daughter. We caught a nice walleye off of the dock, and the kids braved the chilly water to swim. We had a few chilly, rainy days, but we felt cozy in the cabin.

Awesome cabin

The cabin and property was so amazing that we stayed an extra night. The view and access to lake was great and private. I love that it’s a dog friendly property. Our dogs had so much fun playing in lake and large yard. Close to amenities. I definitely would recommend to everyone. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

A beautiful house on a clear, pristine lake in September

We loved our stay in Vergas at this beautiful, lakeside home. The master bedroom is in the loft of the A-frame looking out at the lake, and there is plenty of space to gather around the table for food and games or spread out for some quiet time. We enjoyed the pool table, too.

Going to be an annual tradition

This was our second stay at the log “mansion” as our grandkids call it. We enjoyed our stay immensely at this peaceful location. We enjoyed fishing off the pontoon and the dock, campfires and playing pool on a rainy day.

Vergas paradise

This is a gorgeous cabin with plenty of room and stocked with everything you would need. All you need to bring is clothes and your toiletries. It's very peaceful and beautiful scenery. The owner is super nice and always got back to me promptly when I had a question. We thought the freezer was having an issue and he had someone out there asap to fix it. We highly recommend staying here.

Great Family Trip

The lake stay was great. Very clean lake, the pontoon ran great, and the kayaks and board were a big hit. Good fishing off the dock for the kids. Everything was clean and well maintained, with a couple of minor exceptions. The beds were comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The owner responded promptly when we had questions. All in all a great week.

Perfect Lakehouse

We were looking for a location for our family to meet up, and are so glad we found Josh’s house. It was perfectly equipped in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The water was crystal clear and we loved the access to water toys. Highly recommend renting their pontoon boat, as it was a highlight for us to explore Loon lake. Hope to return!
