The housing accommodations were excellent. Bedrooms, kitchen area and sitting areas were great. The swimming area was a little weedy. Would stay here again

Everything was great besides a little low water pressure. The place was beautiful and had some very cozy nooks for when people just wanted to relax. Would book again.

Fun Little Place!

This was a gorgeous property not too far outside of town. Everything was updated and cozy. We had an absolute blast!

Had to spend about 45 minutes cleaning the dock area from duck poop so we could walk. This should have been done before arrival.the house was full of spiderwebs and floors durty

Sarah, we are so sorry for that. Our lawn crew usually will clean off the dock, ducks have been using that dock alot this year. We would have came out right away to to clean that for you. We truly apologize for that and will have a discussion with the lawn guys.

Relaxing at the Lake

We stayed here for a girl’s trip for some lake time. It was beautiful and comfortable. It is not close to much, but within a short drive to pretty much anything you’d need…and we were there to just chill on the water. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Family vacation

Everything was spectacular. I had the best vacation ever with my family. I'm already talking about coming back in the near future. Handrails in the bathroom and down to the lake would be nice. Loved it. Best experience!!

Perfect Winter Getaway!

We went here for a girls weekend in the winter and it was exactly what we needed. Perfect space for us. We found some cute shops nearby in Perham, but enjoyed most of our time at the cabin. Kitchen was well stocked and the shared living space by the fireplace was perfect for us. Very clean. We had a pretty big snowfall while there and they were very prompt in plowing and shoveling for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back again!

We had a very nice stay here. Comfortable place. The pictures are accurate. The outside is being worked on but not while we were there so that was not a problem. The only issue we had was with check-in. Early on check-in day, I received a text message with arrival instructions and a key panel code to enter the house. When I used that code it didn't work so we tried it multiple ways (since all of these key panels work differently) and the key pad locked and we couldn't try again for 5 minutes. While waiting, I checked my app messages and found a new code that had been sent two hours before check-in. Not a major deal but a bit frustrating after traveling all day. We would definitely stay there again.

As advertised

It was a treat to have the house decorated for Christmas. The shoveling service was a delightful surprise. The house was clean but some details like the fans and back of the TV’s need some attention.

Comfortable and welcoming

This home is beautifully redone and made us feel welcome and relaxed immediately. It was sub zero weather and windy so the temp in the house areas fluctuated a bit! And just so you know if you go and use the fireplace, the damper handle us up inside The chimney not the knob on the outside part! I bet summers are wonderful here!

Mid February Stay

My wife, dog and I enjoyed a mid winter getaway. We went and explored the small towns, restaurants and bars in the area during the day and came back every evening and enjoyed some movies by the fire. We definitely will come back again when it is warmer and we can enjoy the lake. I would highly recommend it for a family or group of people as the house is set up perfectly for a larger group of people. The remodeling that was done is very nice. Also make sure you reserve at least one evening to have dinner at Spanky’s… you will thank me for the recommendation.

Nice older home with heavy remodeling.

We thought the home was nice but definitely lots of finishing work to do. When we read "NEW" on the VRBI listing we thought it was actually a new build. The posting does not show the outside so we were very surprised when we arrived to see a older cabin.

We had a great stay at this rental. While the outside of the home needs some TLC, the inside was great. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cooking supplies and spices. They provided food storage containers, extra paper towels & toilet paper, laundry soap, and two coffee stations with lots of coffee pods. The couches and kitchen chairs were comfortable along with the beds. The house also had cool items like a touch and motion activated kitchen faucet, cool ceiling fans in the living room and all the bedrooms and bathroom ceiling fans with a nightlight and Bluetooth speakers built in. The Blackstone and gas grill were also nice. The home had a pretty view of the lake and the fishing was good during out stay. We would stay again.

Great stay

This was a great property. One of the best VRBO'S we have stayed at. The decor and the attention to detail was great. We liked the individual climate control in each room. I only have two recommendations Wine glasses to be provided and maybe a few hooks on the wall in each bedroom. The only negative comment I have would be that of the cleaners showed up before we checked out. They showed up at 9:45 and sat in the driveway while we were packing up to leave. Actually, the car was packed and we were out for a walk when they came. We are people that would be diligent about leaving at exactly 10:00 as that is when check out time is and we want to enjoy our property completely. We felt extremely rushed, and that put a sour taste at the end of the trip. A recommendation would be that the cleaners make sure the guests are vacated.

Beautiful updated home! Lots of kitchen and bathroom supplies. Very spacious and well decorated. Canoe and kayaks were a great bonus. The view from the deck and dock were beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay!
