Escape the city to this three bedroom cottage in the historic town of Edgecomb Maine. This beautiful cottage was built in 2025 with the modern conveniences of today. This cottage along with 13 others sit on five acres of beautiful Coastal Maine for you to explore. You will have scenic views of the beautiful Maine forests and be close to everything in the Boothbay area has to offer.
Our cottage has 3 bedrooms, all with queen beds, a full kitchen with lots of appliances, a grill and fire area. It may have some road noise.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. The house was very clean, the amenities were great. We were worried about sleeping with the road noise being on Route 1. We worried for nothing. There was plenty of insulation so road noise wasn’t an issue. Jeff was very responsive and checked in multiple times throughout our stay. I can’t recommend this rental more.

Great property with central location in mid coast Maine. Beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds! Jeff was great with communication throughout to ensure we had everything we needed! Would stay again!

Happy Cottage in Edgecomb Maine exceeded my expectations. The house is immaculate and beautifully decorated, Jeffrey the owner put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming space. Our family of 4 had plenty of space to relax and the home has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and each room has it's own design. There is plenty of charging spaces and lighting. The grill and the firepit are a wonderful feature and we truly enjoyed relaxing. Jeffrey is an excellent communicator, check in and check out were simple and he offered many suggestions for the local area. The house is centrally located and easy to drive to different towns and parks to explore. We had a terrific time on the East Wind schooner out of Boothbay Harbor and ate at a small food truck called S&J. We had the best fish and chips and lobster and crab roles. Jeffrey really cares about the quality of his guest's experience. I highly recommend the Happy Cottage and my family and I look forward to returning. Thank you Jeffrey!

Wonderful experience! Jeff was very attentive and provided effortless entry and exit to his well-designed and appointed home. Being there just felt like home and there was nothing missed to support our stay. HIGHLY recommend this property as it is very close to all the best Maine has to offer! The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. Our family of six adults were very comfortable, and host communication was excellent. Very easy check-in and check-out. Highly recommend this house!

The place was a great spot for an overnight on our way up the coast. The vaulted ceilings are a nice feature, but it can make it challenging if people go to bed at different times because sounds travel easily between rooms.
