My wife and I are always looking for "unusual" places to stay on our trips instead of the usual hotel room or cabin. This container home certainly was different. Our host, Richard, was very helpful and would answer any of our questions quickly. To those considering a container home, be warned, the space is small. There is a king sized bed but you need to assemble it from the sofa at bedtime and slide the bottom back under to rebuild the sofa. The kitchen area is small, so you need to shuffle things around to use the cook stove. There is limited space for your luggage as well. On the plus side, the home was clean, had all the cookware and utensils you would need, had a nice heating unit that kept the room warm. The bathroom was adequate with a shower, commode, and sink. Another plus is that it is close to downtown Chillicothe (10 min) and the Sugarloaf Amphitheater (22 min). The backyard has a fire pit and a gas grittle but we did not use these during this stay. In the future, I would choose something with a little more space, but for two people, it was a pleasant stay.
