This home is a contemporary, fully air-conditioned Manuel Antonio vacation rental sitting high on a mountainside. The villa comes with four bedrooms with king beds and 4.5 bathrooms. The main house has three bedrooms including a huge master and one in the guest house each with a private bathroom. The guest house also has a balcony with an ocean view.

There are 3 tiers that make up the main floor of this villa. On the first tier, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a bathroom. The kitchen has granite counter tops and modern appliances with handmade custom cabinets. In the living room of this vacation rental, there is a built-in entertainment center with a large-screen smart TV complete with sound bar. The next tier has a dining room, and the lower one has a game room with pool table and foosball table and opens to a balcony in front.

The villa has a private pool with plenty of deck space for taking in the tropical sun and outdoor dining and BBQ. There is covered parking below the villa for two vehicles. This vacation rental is a nature lover dream with fantastic views of the local exotic wildlife and stunning sunsets.

The villa is just a short walk from a small supermarket and a locally-owned soda with delicious typical food. Just a little further is the main road through Manuel Antonio where you can catch a bus ride to Quepos or the beach.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR STAY: For last minute reservations over the next 60 days, maid service will only be provided for an extra charge of $25 per day (Ask your host to schedule and for details). There is no guest access to laundry facilities at the villa. A $400-500 cash deposit (depending on the size of your group) will be required at check in to cover any damage or missing items.

Perfect spot between Manuel Antonio and Quepos

Amazing home. Perfect for a large family, couples, or multiple families. A lot to do within 5 minutes. Pool and pool table were such a huge benefit for the days you feel like hanging out. Escape Villas management (Carlos) was A and so were the maids. Absolutely would return with family or group of friends.Convenience store, restaurant, and zip line park are 2 blocks away…but you feel secluded in a nice little safe neighborhood.

A Perfect House with Stunning Views

We had an incredible stay at this vacation villa and highly recommend it! The house was perfect for our group of six, with the four bedrooms with comfortable king-size beds and private bathrooms. There was plenty of room to spread out while still enjoying time together under one roof. The guest house was great for additional space. The kitchen and pantry were well-stocked, making meal prep easy and enjoyable. The small tool kit, bug spray, and first aid kit in the pantry were added bonuses. The private pool and pool deck were one of our favorite places to hang out — relaxing and surrounded by nature. We saw more monkeys and birds here than anywhere else on our trip! The views from the pool and balconies were absolutely incredible. We also enjoyed the game room with the pool table. The location was great, with a grocery store and restaurants just down the road. Carlos, the host, gave us a warm welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. Gary, the concierge, was fantastic in helping us plan tours and activities. He also arranged for Chef Esteban to cook us dinner on the evening we arrived. It was one of the best meals we had on our trip. Highly recommend this. This place exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. A truly amazing experience!

Stunning home and location

We couldn't have stayed in a better home than this one. The pool and gaming area were perfect for entertaining the family. The home was extremely clean and well taken care of. The location allowed us to walk to get groceries or go out to a restaurant. Carlos, the host, was wonderful. He responded quickly and took care of all of our needs. Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect vacation house

Casa de Sol was the perfect house for our multi-generation family trip ( 7 adults, 2 children 3,5) The house is set up so everyone has privacy yet wonderful group spaces, with breathtaking balcony views. The pool area was our favorite hangout. Escape Villas team was amazing. Flaviola came daily and kept the house clean and sparkling as well as our used towels and laundry washed. Carlos our host was key to making this busy vacation week effortless thanks to answering multitudes of texts, arranging transportation, excursions, and dealing with one minor water issue at the house. He always responded immediately to questions and always with a smile. Our chef, Juan and his assistant David made dinner 2 nights for us including a special birthday dinner for our granddaughter and their meals were exquisite and they couldn't be nicer. Gary and I had multiple phone conversations and emails prior to the trip which were extremely helpful. The excursion companies that were recommended were all well run and always on time. Couldn't have been any better.

This was a wonderful stay in Costa Rica. The villa was in a great location and had plenty of room for our group of 5. The pool was a big hit with the teens. Hope we can return soon.

Beautiful Home and Area!

Home was exactly as described and pictured in listing. We were extremely happy and over the top with our stay there! Beds were very comfortable and all of us slept like we were at our own home. We ate out every night, but if we did have to cook, the kitchen had everything you needed, including an outdoor bbq. The swimming pool was amazing and refreshing, especially because it was the hottest it has ever been for us this time in Costa Rica. Which brings me to the air conditioning in the house...it worked so well and the home stayed very cool. Our host, Carlos, was very helpful and had an amazing personality! He showed us around the house and asked if we needed help with reservations for activities, etc. We would definitely stay here again! 10 stars!

This property was perfect for our size family. We had space to stretch out a bit! The common areas were perfect & large enough to come together as well. We loved the location but also fortunate to have car. Part of the dirt road to the property was sketchy as it appeared to be washing away, so if a tour van/bus is part of your stay, perhaps meet them at the nearby grocery. We arrived at dark - we were not sure of the three houses on the property if we were in the right place and where to park but eventually figured it out (signage or picture of driveway with directions would be ideal to have ahead of time). The welcome packet was helpful, but internet password listed did not work. It must had been changed recently as our host did not know either. As a result, the tvs also did not function since they were set to the old internet logins. The kitchen was well equipped. You are so close to different attractions here, which is such a plus! We loved our stay and enjoyed the flora and fauna (including scarlet macaws and a daily troupe of monkeys!)

Casa Del Sol was amazing

Amazing house with a more amazing view. Check-in was super easy. David the manager was amazing also. If you need something sent David a message and it will be done. We needed him for an emergency that had nothing to do with the house and he answered and helped right away. The interior of the house was amazing. He even set up for a private chef to come in and cook "which I highly recommend". Lots of wildlife around the house, monkeys, macaws, toucans etc. I would highly recommend renting Casa Del Sol if you are in Manueal Antonio.

Great place for a big group.

We enjoyed our stay in Casa del Sol. The property was amazing and the driveway was as described. Very steep. There were some confusion with taxis not understanding our location-but we don’t speak Spanish to describe. The activities were fun but there was some confusion on how deposits work, transportation to each event and the chef services. However, the chef services were amazing and we would highly recommend.

Amazing property, amazing stay!

Loved this property. We stayed at another place last year in Manuel Antonio, this was by far our favorite. It's a little farther from the beach, however taxis and the bus make it very easy to get around. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay. Thanks so much to Gary and David for making our arrival and subsequent stay seamless and every bit perfect!

Up on a Hill

This house sits pretty high on the Hill. The driveway is not for the faint of heart if driving up it, and the walk up will leave you winded unless you are in good shape, and after that are the winding stairs to the front door. Its the first thing you notice and if access is an issue for you or anyone in your party, you may want to reconsider. That being said, you are rewarded with an awesome view your entire stay if you make it inside. The view from the living room, pool, master bedroom, and guest house are outstanding. Check in and out was easy, thanks to David the house manager. He was always a text or call away. He set up our transportation and excursions and all went off without any issue. Heidy- the house cleaner was very accommodating- a very clean house. Mario the driver was professional and always on time. Now I have been lucky to visit Costa Rica steadily for the past 20 years or so. I have stayed there with family and friends in home rentals and resorts. And all of these home rental companies now have this concierge service. Which in my opinion is an amazing service. And every concierge has there go to service providers for Chefs, drivers, etc. So believe me when I say that the Chef at this house recommended by the concierge team, is one of the best! Jorge the chef and Kimberly could not have been more professional and just on another level. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. And really, their personality and attention to detail really made us feel like we were top priority and really got us to start relaxing and just enjoying the local cuisine. I would recommend at least a dinner and breakfast to get the full experience. Really great local people that make you feel welcomed to this house and country- I can't say enough. Ask for them by name if available! As for the house amenities, it had it all. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean. Everything worked as it should. We saw macaws, monkeys, and coati. While the neighbors seem like they are close at first glance, once in the house, you barley notice them. I will say the pool is deeper than it looks, in case there are little ones staying here. I will be back to this house. Great House. Great Team. Great Fun. Pura Vida indeed.....

We had a birthday trip to remember at the villa. David was amazing with communication and extremely helpful. We all had a great time. The villa is beautiful and in an amazing location with a great time. We would definitely do it all over again!

Stunning property

The photos don’t do justice. This house is beautiful and located within walking distance from supermarkets and restaurants. The views are amazing. We didn’t want to leave the house, it was extremely confortable and loaded with fun things to do. The only drawback is that the kitchen could use more equipment like Teflon pans and pots and a better coffee maker. Other than that you got everything you need. Gary was extremely helpful. He answered all our questions which included best restaurants, best beaches and activities.

Great location, private and very comfy

Perfect house for our two families with young children (3, 6 and 7). The pool is very private and perfectly located with enough sun throughout the day, and some very welcomed shade in the late afternoon. Going up to park the car is amazingly fun!

Excellent rental!

The host Gary was very kind and accommodating. The maid came daily and did an excellent job cleaning, making beds, etc. -an unexpected bonus for a vrbo rental. The house is beautiful, spacious! The pool is refreshing! Great views of the ocean. Lots of wildlife all around-saw three species of monkeys, numerous birds, agouti, sloths and iguanas! Overall excellent experience! Only thing to be aware of-the driveway is very steep! And the kitchen was not as well equipped as I had hoped.

Casa Del Sol!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Sol and the area of Manuel Antonio. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool table and foosball table was definitely a hit with our young adult kids. We would recommend this house for your stay and look forward to our return. PURA VIDA!!!
