When I first arrived in San Diego Beach, I knew I had found a special place. There was something about the sound of the waves, the calm of the neighborhood, and the endless blue horizon that immediately drew me in. As a teacher and traveler, I've always been fascinated by a space that invites people to slow down, connect, and recharge, and San Diego Beach offered exactly that. What begin as a simple visit turned into a long-term vision: creating a comfortable, welcoming beach retreat where guests could enjoy the same sense of peace I first felt here. That vision became Villa Mar Azul. Azul (blue) is my favorite color! and I cannot leave away from the blue ocean.

My goal wasn't just renovate the house, I wanted to create a practical, comfortable home where people could live unforgettable days by the sea. Every decision, from the bedding, to the kitchen and all the amenities included came from the idea that travel should feel effortless and pleasant.
