Great Stay

Very welcoming host, made sure we had everything we needed, will be booking again in the future if staying in Arlington.

Great location for cowboys or ranger games. Host responded quickly. Had some issues with trying to have fan on and turn off lights at night..couldn’t do both. Appreciate the water and items in fridge.

Positives: Location was good. Very low priced in comparison with other 3 bedrooms in area. Check in process was timely and easy. Property manager was tentative and responsive. Shower temperature and pressure was good. I was able to check in early andcheck out late.Negatives: Cleanliness missed the mark (Crumbs and debris on floor, human hair in sinks and tubs, fridge dirty with food left from previous renters, multiple critters belly up on the front porch, floors, kitchen window and restroom etc). I spent over an hour recleaning so we could feel comfortable. Luckily I didnt notice the bugs Day 1, or I would have left and stayed elsewhere. However I didn't see them until last full day.There was a horrible smell that was coming from the plumbing (toilets and sinks) Only 4 towels and no washcloths. I did communicate my concerns to manager. An apology given and I was offered to bring towels.The bed/mattress in master was low quality and really uncomfortable. The twin beds in kid room had much better quality. Not cool when parents are ones who pay. The fridge was not cleaned and freezer wasn't usable as it did not open fully. Lastly back yard was huge, but no grill or furnishings to make use of it. Looks like someone lives in shed in backyard. If so, that should be disclosed. The place has potential, and I hope they make necessary improvements based on our feedback

I regret booking this property and wish I had trusted my instincts when I saw it had no reviews. This was by far the worst rental experience I’ve everhad.Upon arrival, the home was visibly dirty. There was human and pet hair on the furniture, floors, in one of the beds there was pubic hair.The bathrooms had signs instructing guests not to flush toilet paper, which is highly unusual and should have been disclosed in the listing. Flushing the toilet caused a strong odor of raw sewage .The freezer was completely frozen shut and unusable. When I reached out to the host, she sent someone over who stated this “happens all the time,” and advised me to leave the door open, mop up the water, and wait for it to freeze again.Again, this should have been clearly disclosed in the listing.The yard was overgrown, full of ants, and had dog feces scattered throughout. The host had told me pets were not allowed, but made an exception for my dog. However, it was obvious that other dogs had stayed there before, as there was pet hair everywhere. My dog does shed.On the first night, we saw a giant cockroach in the bathroom. On the second night, I woke up to one crawling on me in bed. At that point, we immediately packed a few essentials and went to a hotel at 11 p.m.We had a planned event the next day, but afterward we returned to the rental only to gather our things and drive three hours home despite having paid for a third night. I have a lot of photos,but it will not allow me to upload all.
