Everything was great! The pictures don’t do justice of how beautiful the house and location are. The host was great at communicating prior and during the trip.

We had a great stay! The house was wonderful and exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The host was very accommodating and communicated clearly throughout the entire process, which made everything easy and stress-free. We would absolutely rent this property again and highly recommend it to others.

The property was beautiful. It was exactly like the pics. However we did find a few cockroaches in 2 bedrooms which we were not expecting. Also several cameras facing the back door and sitting areas that made our stay not very private. The host was very kind and answered questions very quickly. Only thing is they were constantly messaging us saying our music was too loud and “neighbors” were complaining. But there weren’t very many houses occupied in the area. The closest neighbor was across the bay. If I couldn’t hear music in the room closest to the pool, I can’t see how they would hear. After reading the messages I went outside to investigate and noticed the camera light on closest to the pool. Which lead me to believe we were being spied on. Again the property was very nice, just not private at all.

Thank you for the feedback. We’re sorry about the cockroaches you encountered. We have the property professionally treated on a regular schedule, but being a lakefront home, occasional pests can unfortunately still get inside. We’ll make sure our pest control team addresses this. We do want to clarify the concern about the noise and cameras. The noise complaints were genuinely from our neighbors, including the home immediately to the left of our property, not across the cove. Sound carries surprisingly far around the lake at night when the neighborhood is quiet, which is why we reached out during the posted quiet hours. We were trying to resolve it directly rather than have the neighbors escalate the complaint further. The exterior cameras are also disclosed in our listing and are there for property security and guest safety. There are no cameras anywhere inside the home. We understand how seeing them could have made you feel uncomfortable, but they were not being used to watch your group or invade your privacy. We’re glad you enjoyed the home itself and appreciated our responsiveness, and we appreciate the feedback.

This was hands-down, one of the most beautiful houses we have ever been in. It was absolutely beautiful. It was so spacious and all the beds were comfortable. No matter where we stay no matter how much we pay, It seems like the beds are always terrible. Not here! The layout of this house is amazing. It’s just gorgeous. The outside is just as awesome. The hot tub was hot and so relaxing. The view is stunning. I could go on and on. The host here really cared and was in constant contact. They gave us a couple options to fix a small issue we did have come up as soon as it happened. I would absolutely recommend this house and I cannot wait to stay here again!

Our group of 14 adults and 4 children recently spent two nights at Cedar Creek Lake Gateway, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the spacious, well-managed interior. The layout is thoughtfully designed, with a kitchen and living area that easily accommodated our large group without ever feeling crowded.The amenities kept everyone entertained throughout the stay:Entertainment: The garage featured a great table tennis setup that became a favorite spot for some friendly competition.Outdoor Fun: The pool and hot tub were absolute highlights that we enjoyed thoroughly.Lakeside Magic: The deck offered a perfect vantage point for watching the sunset over the lake. We also took the kayaks out for a sunset paddle, which was a fantastic way to experience the water.The only minor drawback was the presence of spider webs at the dock, which could have used a bit more attention prior to our arrival. However, this was limited to the outdoor dock area and didn't dampen our spirits.Overall, it was a wonderful stay, especially for the kids. We walked away with beautiful memories to cherish and would highly recommend this home to any large family looking for a special getaway!Quick Summary for Other Travelers:Best for: Large groups and multi-generational families.Highlight: Sunset views from the deck and the excellent pool/hot tub area.Tip: Be prepared for a bit of "nature" at the dock area and outdoors seatings.

This is a beautiful property with all the amenities just as described and like the pictures! The layout of rooms and restrooms fit our family perfectly. The pool was beautiful and the kids loved the slide off of the boat dock! The kitchen was nice and roomy and a frig in the kitchen and garage was so helpful so helpful! The lake is so pretty and accessible from this location with our boat. However, there is no boat storage for renters at the site. Overall a great place to stay and enjoy the lake with family!
