Centrally located and easy to park close to the door. Loved the hammock chairs on the deck. Very well decorated and cheerful. Had everything we needed.

High Tide cottage was fresh and appealing and proved a great base from which to explore Campobello International Park and its historic grounds and also to experience pretty views from this and neighboring islands. Owner was very responsive.

Oh what a find this Campobello Island rental was! It was well worth driving up most of the Maine coastline to reach. It is a two-story delightfully designed home with a mariner theme reflected in the furnishings, surrounded by a landscaped yard that includes a patio with inviting hammocks. It was hard to drag ourselves away to visit the Roosevelt estate where we enjoyed an excellent tour of the "cottage" and also "tea with Eleanor", thanks to a tip from Mary, Treena's mother, who stopped by to see how we were doing. She also gave us directions to the market at the top of the hill where we bought the best blueberry pie we have ever eaten. Our contact with Canadian residents and authorities was very pleasant and all the amenities of the Roosevelt park are free, including entrance. Customs both ways at the border went smoothly. If Campobello weren't so far away, I'd like to spend a week at the Garrisons' rental--it's exceptional.

The house is lovely, just like in the pictures. Nice, private outdoor space with plenty of birds to watch. View of the ocean from upstairs loft. Really quick to get there from the Lubec bridge. BR downstairs was stocked with books for kiddos. Laundry available in the downstairs bath (there is another bath upstairs). There are 3 small TVs in the sleeping areas, none in the common room. We didn't go there to watch TV so it wasn't an issue, I just know people like to know these things. There are personal items like pictures in the house which at times makes it feel a little less like a VRBO and more like using your favorite aunt's cottage, but it is nice. It is obvious the owners love it.

I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay. My dad built the cottage for us about 18 years ago as our second home. We love to share it a few weeks a year when we aren’t there. I try to keep it cozy, welcoming and well stocked for guests 😊 Come back anytime.
