5 minute walk to Madaket beach, stunning water views from this 3,000 sq.ft. new contemporary beach home with bamboo flooring throughout. Central A/C with a uniquely designed separate A/C thermostat in each bedroom.

A tastefully appointed beach house that offers 2nd floor views of Hither Creek and outstanding views of Madaket Harbor, Tuckernuck, the Atlantic, and spectacular Madaket sunsets. Three very large bedrooms, each with its own attached private bathroom. Bathroom fixtures include Waterworks, Dornbracht, Toto, Kohler, Franke, and Blanco. All brand-new bedroom furniture.

Upside down home with, not one, but two first floor master bedroom suites both with queen bed. First master suite has French doors to large covered deck, granite & marble bath with double vanity & shower plus an adjacent master study with 2 spare twin beds (great for baby or two toddlers to sleep). Thermostatically controlled heated bathroom floor.

A second master bedroom suite has cathedral ceilings, granite & marble bath with air-jet jacuzzi tub, with shower & double vanity, all brand-new bedroom furniture. Thermostatically controlled heated bathroom floor. All three bathrooms with glass enclosed shower with multi-body shower jets.

Laundry room with new washer & dryer. Two wet bars, each w/ sink & wine cooler.
A large cathedral ceiling great room with contemporary kitchen and a separate wet bar. 46" HDTV (plus an additional 24” TV in kitchen). Wireless internet.

Every possible kitchen utensil provided. Modern appliances are all Viking & Sub-Zero. Exterior second floor deck with water views and gas grill. 2nd floor half bath. A second deck on the ground floor, very private Lanai style w/ white wicker furniture. Outside shower.

Lower level has large bedroom, with queen bed, with attached ‘Japanese-motif’ full bathroom with spa-steam-shower, and rainfall shower head + body jets. Also, a large media room on lower level has a wet bar & wine cooler with 60” HDTV, DVD & surround sound system & new leather sectional furniture.

All beach accessories provided: 8 beach chairs, 4 beach umbrellas, 2 beach coolers, beach towels & a beach cart to carry it on your 5 minute stroll to the Madaket Beach.

Best rental

We’ve rented many times in Nantucket, Seamommy was by far one of the best! Their home was perfect for our family; it was so clean and comfortable. We look forward to renting it again next summer.

Clean, comfortable, and in a great location.

Meticulous owners take pride in this bright and beautiful house and are great to work with. This house is extremely well laid out for entertaining with large bathrooms for each of the three main bedrooms. Both open and covered deck areas offer flexibility for gathering outside, and the large open living room is a great place to gather indoors. Fast internet and separate heating/cooling zones for each bedroom and living area keeps everyone happy. The location of this house is phenomenal. Two great beach areas, one on the open Atlantic and another, with a gentle slope and calm waters, are within walking distance. An outdoor shower is the perfect way rinse off the sand after playing at he beach. During the summer, "The Wave" public transportation stop is a short distance away and connects to many parts of the island, which is great if you do not want to drive. The Madaket bus will pick you up at the Whaling Museum in town. The F Street Pier (boat launch and dock) is also a short walk and a place to meet small charter fishing boats run by local fishermen. Several bike shops in town will rent bikes by the day or week, and will deliver them to the house. This area is great for riding mountain bikes with a combination of paved and dirt roads to explore along with a dedicated bike path that will lead you to town.

Beautiful Upside Madaket House with Water Views

Our family of four loved this vacation rental out in Madaket. We have been renting houses on the island for 10+ years and this was one of the best. The house was beautifully decorated, very spacious, organized and full of all the supplies you could need (fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and toys, paper products, etc.) The House is great for a family or for couples, as there are three big beautiful bedrooms each with its own lovely bathroom and there is also a room with two twin beds. After spending the days on the beach (Madaket beach is just steps away) or in town, my husband and I enjoyed spending time on the 3rd floor which is light and airy with a deck and views of the bay, while the kids loved heading to the basement floor to enjoy the large media room. We spent many of our evenings watching the beautiful sunset from the deck or gazing at the amazing display of stars once the sun went down. The house is also conveniently located right near Millies. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had and were very helpful. Overall we loved the house and hope to be back next year!

Modern amenities, but a traditional Nantucket feel - steps from the beach!

Our family of five spent a memorable week here over the summer. We've gone to Nantucket for a week every summer for many years now, and have become quite attached to Madaket. This house stands out as the nicest we've rented on the island, striking an amazing balance between modern amenities and a traditional Nantucket feel. The upside-down configuration allows one to stroll from the open kitchen and dining area right out onto a deck with sweeping views of the water. The bedrooms are tremendously spacious, bathrooms are beautifully designed, and the media room is a great place to spend time on a rainy day. The owners were responsive and attentive. Highly recommended!

Excellent

Great house for a beach getaway with easy access to town via bus. Beautifully appointed home with top of the line kitchen appliances, bathrooms, accessories. Loads of bike trails nearby. The two entertainment areas, one upstairs and one downstairs was great for our group. The deck off of the upstairs was an awesome spot for morning coffee and evening dinners watching the sunset. The house had everything we needed and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had…even set up our transportation.

We love the quiet village of 'Old Madaket as it is on the west end of the island & far away from the hustle & bustle of downtown Nantucket. Love being only 500 yards to the beach, and central air-condition of the house.
