FUN IN THE SUN! COZY PET FRIENDLY COTTAGE WITH SHORT WALK TO ST AUGUSTINE BEACH
Quaint and comfortable: 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom cottage available for rent for your vacation or get-away.Just a short walk to the dog friendly beach of St.Augustine Beach. Over 1100 sq. ft. of living area. Master bedroom has a queen size bed and a small flat screen tv. Guest bedroom has 2 twin beds. Each bedroom as it's own bath. Covered front porch, with a swing and porch furniture. For your enjoyment there is also a private, screened in back porch that has a small dining table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, a coffee maker, dishes and flatware. All linens are provided as well as several beach towels.
The Cracker House is not your typical Florida beach house, a friend of ours from North Carolina, has said that it's a 'Mountain Home at the Beach". While the Cracker House is certainly not upscale, we think you will find it clean, comfortable, charming and in a very quite neighborhood, with friendly neighbors.
There are 2 grocery stores, just a short drive south on AIA, as well as numerous restaurants within walking distance from our cottage, to enjoy, if you don't feel like cooking.
The Cracker House is not your typical Florida beach house, a friend of ours from North Carolina, has said that it's a 'Mountain Home at the Beach". While the Cracker House is certainly not upscale, we think you will find it clean, comfortable, charming and in a very quite neighborhood, with friendly neighbors.

As in the previous years we loved the “Cracker House” and we hope to be able to do it again next year! Wonderful place and very convenient to the beach! Easy and fast communication with the host! We can highly recommend this place to anybody who loves peace and quiet!

Had a lovely time
This property is ideally located to the beach and historical sites. Lovely house sits on a quiet street. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Everything was communicated clearly of what was expected of us. It was a cute house just a few minutes walk from the beach. Family-friendly and clean!

Excellent anniversary weekend!
Excellent location! Walk to beach (public area with bathrooms and shower) restaurants, shopping. Excellent restaurant choices - breakfast buffet, burgers, pasta, pizza, steak, seafood, bars, ice cream… This house was everything we needed.

Awesome surf get away!
Brought my surfboard and the beach was super close! Great places in the neighborhood for shopping and food! Good neighborhood for cruising on a skateboard or bike! Would definitely stay again!

Cozy cottage
The house was perfect for our stay. On a quiet street and a short walk to beach access and restaurants. Very comfortable for us (2) and nicely equipped. Not your typical beach bungalow but very nice, cozy and clean. Would highly recommend and would return!

Great trip to St Augustine
Cute “Cracker House”.
Very convenient location. Short walk to the beach. All amenities you might need, including beach chairs, towels, etc. Highly recommend!!!

Great place
We really enjoys the screened in porch on the back of the house. The house was very clean and neat had everything we needed for a six day stay. The location was very convenient with the beach within walking distance, downtown St. Augustine just a very short drive away, and plenty of restaurants nearby.

My husband Bill, and I bought the beach house in 2004, after visiting the area for over 30 years, we lucked across this little jewel...... We currently live in the mountains of Western North Carolina and hope to one day retire to St. Augustine Beach!! Life's a beach!!!

We visited the area for over 30 years prior to buying the cottage......Great beaches, antiques stores, good bike and walking trails, good music in the Summer at the pier and wonderful restaurants. We love riding our bikes into the historic district and looking at all the old houses. Which takes about 30 minutes by bike or 10 minutes by car.

We fell in love with our home because of the way it sits back in the trees and is really pretty private. It's the 3rd house from the end, on a dead end street. We love to sit on the swing on the front porch!
