This is the lower private unit of the family home built by former US Congressman (Hoover, FDR) William Fiesinger and his wife Maud. Charming place! Be aware, as it's a downstairs unit, guests above are heard- every step. Otherwise, comfortable - with very good coffee provided!

Location, location, location! Perfect walking distance for dinner and drink drinks. Such a short eight minute drive to Cedar point. Stay was beautiful. Anything you could need was on hand. Check in check out was a breeze. Personal bonus points for a French press.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was awesome, bed comfortable, towels absorbent, coffee and snacks were a treat. Bring ear plugs just in case the people staying above move around a lot (we stayed on the first floor, no big deal-the noise level would in no way stop us from staying in the location again). The owner communication was great.

Hi Nick, thank you for staying with us. We are sorry to be learning that you were underwhelmed during your stay. If we had known you needed more linens or that there were crumbs in the cushions left behind by a prior tenant that weren't caught by housekeeping, we would have been more than happy to address those items quickly during your stay. Your reservation indicated 2 adults and 2 kids (4 total) which we can comfortably accommodate between the queen bed, sofa bed, air mattress and/or crib. We try to be crystal clear about amenities in the 800 sq ft home, including a floor plan, to let people know what the space allows. We would not recommend 5 adults, for example. Again, we are sorry to hear that there were some issues during your stay and we invite you to reach out to our staff directly to see how we can make it up to you for a future stay. Thank you.

House was easy to get to and easy to check into. There is a DG market being built directly next to the house which will be good when it opens and construction stops. Bedroom is nice size with attached bathroom and large closet. Shower has a large rainhead fixture. A/C worked great. Kitchen is big enough for cooking if needed. Living has the only tv but it is big and placed in a great place for all to view. Parking is off street with signs directing you where to park. Hopefully the other people staying follow those signs. Host was helpful with check-in reminders.

Great location near downtown Sandusky and Cedar Point. Great shower, living space, kitchen, cold A/C, and easy parking. Easy check in and check out. The only reason for not a perfect 5 stars is noise. The room does include a sound machine which helps, but this is a bottom floor unit and everyone that stayed upstairs above us was either up late or early. And, even if they were not intentionally loud, we heard every footstep which is notable if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise, it is just about perfect.

5 stars! Check in was a breeze, great communication with the host, Dave. Very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well provided with coffee, tea and a bonus of snacks on the counter! The Bedroom was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and linens. The living room was charming, felt very welcoming. Also, I the back patio. It was great for morning coffee or evening beverages and conversation.The mural added to the overall charm of the place. Oh, and there is additional seating on the front porch, enjoyed lunch there a couple of times. Bonus: The house is within walking distance to downtown and the lake!
