Beautiful 5 BR/3 Ba home in stunning surroundings! Enjoy the lakefront, firepit, hot tub and large, welcoming interior. Well-equipped kitchen has a fully-stocked coffee bar and a dining table large enough for a crowd! Basement has foosball, air hockey, and a stand-alone video game console. The dock is equipped with paddleboards and canoe. Quiet family neighborhood (no loud parties, please).

Perfect for families and small groups. Close to Knoxville and Oak Ridge. Plenty of parking.

Excellent stay! Clean linens, comfortable beds, well appointed entertaining and living areas. Excellent communication with host. Beautiful and spacious home! Did mention to host bathrooms and kitchen could use a deep clean, but it wasn’t anything that ruined the stay. Those areas are high traffic so the walls, appliances, cabinets had grease, grime, daily life “stuff” that needed to be addressed in a STR of this caliber. (Host responded and appreciated the feedback.) We will be back.

Beautiful home on the lake with plenty of room for all. Great amenities and quiet comfortable location! My family was in town for a rowing regatta and Susan’s home was about 25 min away so easy commute from there and airport! Would recommend for all to stay if you want quiet home with space!

Simply. Everything was perfect. The views, the feeling of the home and it was represented perfectly in the description. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot. The kids had all sorts of board games and air hockey to play while us adults enjoyed the hot tub and the extremely comfortable couches!

Great location with excellent feedback and response from the owner. Beautiful house and the kids loved the games and access to paddle board. The hot tub was an added bonus . Looking forward to returning in the summer!

Thanksgiving was enjoyed by all at this comfortable, spacious home. Our favorite was having kitchen, dining, and living in one large open area. Truly, a Great room!

Beautiful home! The pictures online don’t do it justice. We loved the lake and enjoyed being able to use the equipment that was already there (kayak, canoe, etc.)There were a few things here and there that could use improvement like a wobbly toilet upstairs, but overall it was a great experience! We didn’t receive check in directions, but I think it was a VRBO issue and not the owner’s issue. The owner was quick to get the information I needed when we arrived. We would gladly stay here again!

This lakeside retreat is such a treasure! Susan and her husband are very friendly, and the communication was excellent. This property is gorgeous, and the amenities are fantastic!! Plus, you are just a 15-minute car ride from Melton Hill Marina, so if you rent a boat, it's an easy 30-minute boat ride back to the house on the lake. Great place to recharge, enjoy nature, and quality time with family by the lake.

The house was great, kitchen had all we needed, coffee machines were a plus. Five bedrooms gave every person their own bedroom and three bathrooms made getting easy. Enjoyed setting by the lake and the fire pit. The host provided some snacks. All of us enjoyed the game room. The host decorated with our football team, we even had a walnut fight in front yard from the nuts falling from the trees. We will be back at this location when our football team returns.

The Lake House Retreat is a perfect vacation spot for family and friends. The house has an amazing view of the quiet lake and provides outdoor locations on a deck, covered patio, fire pit and the dock. The house is impeccably clean and comfortably furnished. The owners have gone out of their way to make sure guests of all ages are welcome. They provide a crib and high chair (which came in very handy for us.) In addition there are games for all ages including air hockey, foosball, and Ms. Pacman. The owners, Susan and Terry, were amazing. The were very responsive to all my questions both before and during the trip. They went above and beyond to provide a variety of amenities to make our stay amazing. My family loved spending time on the dock and paddle boarding using the equipment provided by the owners. The amazing coffee bar was a also great hit, and it was stocked with a wide range of options to meet the variety of hot beverage tastes of my family. The Lake House Retreat was the perfect place for my family to rest, relax, and spend time together. We all had plenty of space to be in the kitchen together and had wonderful meals gathered around the huge dining table. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful place to stay as we were celebrating my daughter's wedding. Susan and Terry have created a beautiful, welcoming, and comfortable house. It was a home away from home for us and made this special weekend even more wonderful.

This welcoming home met our expectations perfectly. The space was beautifully decorated, the kitchen adequately stocked, the dock was equipped to park our two boats, and the view from the fire pit allowed us to watch fireflies glow and stars emerge. We couldn’t have enjoyed a place more. We are looking forward to our next trip to this East Tennessee sanctuary.

We love hosting and have a long history of hospitality - from hosting huge family gatherings to running our home as a temporary Bed & Breakfast during NASCAR weekends when we lived near Bristol, TN.
