This house was great. We had 12 people in the house and we had plenty of space. Property was clean and the host was super responsive to all my questions. The mountain is gorgeous and we spent hours every morning enjoying the cool mountain air on the deck watching the sun come up. Absolutely breathtaking view. Highly recommend this property and we would all happily stay here again.

The rental was perfect for our extended family. S’mores, deer in the yard, basketball court, hot tub, sauna, and extremely comfortable beds!! Our family totally enjoyed our visit and would definitely return. Highly recommended.

5 starsWe had a great time over New Year's 2026 with a large group. The plan was to ski at the Hatley Pointe area. This house is an easy 8-minute drive from driveway to parking lot. It was perfect for our group. Additionally it is within walking distance of the Appalachian Trail and Big Bald Summit.The house had everything we needed. That is important given that the closest grocery store is 30 minutes away.I am going to have to figure out where they bought their pillows because the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in.We will definitely be coming back to this house next year.

Great property. Plenty for the entire family to enjoy without leaving the property. A few minor issues, but all said and done it’s a great house in a great getaway mountain location. Everyone enjoyed all the amenities (hot tub, pool table, video arcades, overhead projector room, foosball, etc. ( Hard to play shuffleboard as the table is well off level). The host was extremely responsive to any immediate needs which were few.A few observations below, non of which diminished the experience:Outside of the house could use some TLC (a good pressure washing and cleaning of the entire downstairs area around the sauna and hot tub as well as the back porch steps to remove slippery mildew). The outside activity box was pretty nasty (looked like previous guests at some point left it open during poor weather and actual used it for their occasional trash). The back stair railing is quite loose and in need of repair and the front porch and lamppost lights didn’t work. The area carpets in the pool table room and the one in the downstairs master bedroom need replacing as they are very thin and wrinkle up big time when walking on them causing a trip hazard.The mini putt putt needs a drain. It fills with water during a good rain. The lighting in the house could use an upgrade.

I appreciate the notes about the outdoor and safety items. Our maintenance team has been notified and will prioritize:
- pressure washing and a thorough clean around the sauna, hot tub and back porch steps
- cleaning and securing the outside activity box
- inspecting and repairing the loose back stair railing
- restoring the front porch and lamppost lighting
- replacing the thin, wrinkling area carpets that create trip hazards
- improving drainage for the mini-putt area
- reviewing overall interior lighting and upgrades where needed
