Tucked into a quiet alcove just 15–20 minutes on foot (or 5 minutes by bike) from the heart of Samara, Casa Ventura offers the perfect blend of serenity and accessibility. From the front door, you’re just a short walk—5 to 10 minutes—to three beautiful beaches ideal for swimming, surfing, fishing, tide pooling, or simply soaking up the sun. Scenic hiking trails in the surrounding hills are also just minutes away.

One of the things that makes Casa Ventura truly special is that you don’t need a car to enjoy your stay. The road into town is flat—unlike many other parts of Samara—making walking and biking a breeze.

The home is located in a small, friendly neighborhood with a mix of expats and locals. It was built by a local artist over 20 years ago and carries a distinctive “Tico” charm, featuring post-and-beam ceilings and original artwork in every room.

Casa Ventura comfortably accommodates up to four guests. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and air conditioning for your comfort. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and also includes AC. With two full bathrooms, everyone has space to relax.

Step into the lush backyard and enjoy the brand-new swimming pool (2024) surrounded by mature tropical trees and breezy, shaded patios—perfect for lounging, reading, or dining al fresco. The fully equipped kitchen has been upgraded with an induction cooktop and air fryer, while the open-concept layout connects the kitchen, dining, and lounge areas with double patio doors that bring the outdoors in.

The handcrafted dining table, made by a local artisan, sits at the heart of the home, but most meals are enjoyed on the peaceful rear patio overlooking the pool, tropical garden, and visiting songbirds.

Aside from the gentle soundtrack of nature, the only sound you’re likely to hear is the occasional call of howler monkeys at dawn or dusk—your invitation to say a playful "hello" if you spot them on a hike.
