Wonderful

We loved this cabin we didn't want to leave . There was room for our boat and truck in the driveway it was great. Quite and peaceful

Compact But Nice

This is one of those places that is nice, but is smaller than we imagined based on the photos. It was clean and more than adequate for us. We peeked into the loft and are glad we didn't have to sleep up there - it is very tight! The fridge was fine, and we didn't try the stove. We were disappointed that the grill was GONE with nothing left but a stub where it had been. A grill is an important park of staying in a cabin. The ribeyes from Ingles WOULD have tasted great on the grill if it had been there! The only other problem we had was the cold water valve in the shower would not turn the water on. The first morning we went to get into the shower and there was PLENTY of HOT water - but the cold water valve just spun around in both directions. The good news is we called while at NOC on the GSMRR and when we got back later that afternoon it had been repaired. Kudos!

Moose Cabin weekend trip

The Moose Cabin at Big Bear properties was great. Very close to town and all the attractions with stores close by and yet secluded.

Think twice--Big Brother is watching

Upon arrival the house seemed cute, but then we noticed the spider webs, and the dust. We went to grill and the grill literally fell apart as we were cooking. But the worse part was the pets. My in-laws were in the area and stopped by with there small dog. With 2 kids we were running a little behind, and the waited on the porch with the dog. Imagine our SHOCK when we were hit with a pet fee for a dog that didn't set foot inside the house! We disputed and they fabricated damage! The dog was supervised on the porch the entire 10-20 minutes he was there, then we ALL (dog included) went to breakfast. I am disappointed on so many levels. We will not be back.

Glad they stayed. Did have to charge a pet deposit for a visiting pet. Would rent to them again.
