Resting by open fields, this lovely guest cottage is the perfect place for a getaway stay. Beautifully appointed with classic architecture and lots of light, it has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, one full bath, a sitting and dining area, and a kitchenette. A couch in the living area is long enough for another sleeping location. The cottage is located fifteen minutes from downtown New Haven, Connecticut. There is a public walking trail across the street, winding around open fields and by a community garden.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay in such pleasant surroundings. The convenient trail nearby was such a nice bonus to. We’ve found the perfect place to stay when visiting our daughter and family nearby.

Beautiful property and thoughtfully curated. One of the prettier places we've stayed at. Lovely grounds and the best shower we've had. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the little cottage. Quiet, safe and clean. Great shower. Good sleep. I loved the walking trail across the road. Really convenient to get to New Haven and Stop &Shop close by.

Nice spray in shower, nice bed, nice owner. There was spiders in the bathroom, one large one. It’s probably that time of year. Webs on light fixtures behind couch. Otherwise a good rental

We were just so enamored of this lovely cottage. The photos really don't do it justice. The views are stunning. The cottage is immaculate and homey. The bed and couch were very comfortable and we both loved the shower. (I took photos of the beautiful bathroom tiles, so I can remember them when we do our own house renovation). We were having a getaway weekend for our anniversary, but this would also be a great spot for a quiet writer's or artist's retreat. There was lots of choices for dining nearby and we did some hiking nearby to Judge's cave. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it highly.

The cottage was adorable and as described in the listing. Perfectly located for staying in or getting out and doing things. The host was responsive and communicative. Cannot recommend enough.

We had a wonderful time. The cottage is located just outside the hustle and bustle of city life. There is a nice walking trail just across the street. Our host was excellent with how everything operated in the cottage and giving recommendations on where to dine. It really felt like home and loved using the french press for our morning brew! Definitely would stay again!

Place was cozy, perfect getaway!! Shower amazing. Utilized blankets to sit and watch the snow fall!Definitely would have enjoyed a newer bed, but no other complaints and will definitely be back.Host was wonderful with questions, very responsive.
