This property is situated just walking distance from Yale University and a few blocks from Downtown New Haven, which is known for having some of the top Pizzeria's in the nation, not to mention all of the other fine restaurants located in and around the downtown and Yale area. You also can enjoy the bustling night life downtown with all of the many bars and night clubs in the area if that's your kind of thing.
If not then you may enjoy viewing and/or visiting some of the many historical landmarks and parks that the area has to offer including the newly renovated Peabody Museum. Whatever your interests are I'm sure you'll be entertained here in New Haven.
You can also take about an hour ride to NYC or one of our several Casinos which includes Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun or the MGM Grand and if you decide to chill around the house then you can totally relax on the spacious, screened in, covered, completely furnished Patio, with it's completely fenced in yard. Bring the Alexa which is included with the house from inside, out onto the Patio and listen to your favorite music, podcast or just let Alexa update you on the latest news and facts.
Some of our other amenities include, Alarm clocks in all bedrooms, Phone chargers, Alexa in L/R, self check in keypad and luggage racks. Any questions or concerns feel free to reach out, our hosts are available during your entire stay, and please let us know of anything that might need attention, we try to cover all the bases but we're only human. My adult sons and I have been looking forward to playing the newly renovated, 100 year old Yale Golf Course for several years, and to couple it with a visit to Yale University, which they had never seen before (my Alma Mater from 50 years earlier). Coming from Texas we were fortunate to find this perfect accommodation for our 4-day stay: close to the Yale campus and the golf course. With 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and extremely clean, comfortable, well-equipped and in a quiet neighborhood, it met all our requirements at a very reasonable price. The hosts left some welcoming snacks in a basket in the kitchen and bottles of water in the fridge, a thoughtful touch. And everything worked (A/C, TVs, appliances, etc.)! The house even has a cozy screened-in back deck for relaxing after the day’s round or activities. If there was a slight drawback it was the 15 steps to the upper level where the bedrooms are, but that’s mainly a concern for old guys like me. Overall, we loved our stay and I highly recommend this wonderful property.

We chose this house because of the beautiful porch and, I will be real, the pics of the light-up toilets perplexed and astounded us. Neither of these were a disappointment!!!!!!! Porch was beautiful, BOTH toilets light up (I guess as night lights?), hosts were prompt, property was clean, and there was very clear signage everywhere you might want clear signage (house rules, hand soap vs dish soap, etc). When we arrived the kitchen was stocked with a little basket of snacks and some cold sodas in the fridge! :)Also, we realized only 2 days before arrival that we would need to check in a couple hours early, and the hosts were perfectly accommodating!

Good location and thoughtfully furnished and equipped with most commonly used amenities. Would stay here again if I'm in this area.

My sisters ( co hosts )! and I grew up in the New Haven area and are a very close family. We are very outgoing and love to entertain so when we acquired this house it was a natural process to use our business skills along with our people skills to turn it into something we could do together and make a little money at the same time. Hosting comes really easy for us with those 2 skill sets so now we just focus on improving.

The neighborhood is a relatively quiet residential area, and its close proximity to Yale and downtown New Haven with all It has to offer was a major factor in choosing this area. One of the things we like most about the neighborhood is how easy it is to navigate around Yale and the entire city.

Our property stands alone in the way it makes you feel at home from the time you pull up in the 2 car driveway until you’re able to relax on the spacious screened in, fully furnished, covered deck and everything in between.
Another thing that guests love is the way they’re greeted with snacks and beverages, and how we make ourselves available to handle anything that may arise that wasn’t already anticipated.
