Your vacation begins as you wind your way through the streets of Knob Hill, and crest the final hill as the lake opens up before you and the peace settles upon you.
Welcome to our lake house.
The three palm trees in the front yard make you think that you are in the Caribbean, or some other island paradise, not on lake Lewisville in Little Elm, Tx. But the fact is you have reached a place where your daily cares and the stresses of life can melt away as the Texas sun sets and the moon rises over the calm waters of the lake.
This peaceful escape is located within a short distance of many restaurants and attractions in the Dallas area. Just beyond the front porch you can experience water sports, fishing, swimming, boating, and any other water activity you can think of.
This lake house is located on a peninsula that juts out into lake lewisville, and therefore it has the open lake in front and a secluded cove in back. In addition to a fantastic place to just rest and relax, this lake house is also a place to enjoy your family and friends. We have available kayaks, hammocks and swings in the front yard, and floating islands to waste away the hours on the water. Every room of the house has a view of the lake. Dream away on our luxurious plush beds, with eight hundred thread count Egyptian sheets.

Fun at the Lake House

We recently had an amazing stay at the Lake House at Knob Hill. The private access to the lake was great. No crowds or hassle, just a relaxing time on the lake. We used the kayaks and canoes provided by the hosts. The neighbors next door were friendly. Plenty of amenities provided by the hosts. Great communication from them as well. We'll definitely be back!

Another wonderful stay!

This is our 3rd stay and we have enjoyed it each time. We come to see son, daughter in law and 2 grand girls. It works perfectly for us and you can’t beat the swings, patio and lake view. Thanks again!

Great urban getaway

We had a wonderful stay with our two young children and my parents. Plenty of room for everyone, comfortable beds, great toys for the little ones, and wonderful to walk out the front door to play in the lake. Kimberley was a great host- always very prompt to respond to questions and give suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area.

Great spot on the lake

Rented this for a spring break getaway with the family. Was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of beds, rooms, games, tv. Was nice to go somewhere that had everything you needed and then some. Wish the weather would of been better, but the inside games really helped keep the kids and adults entertained. Hope to go back soon!!

Lake House Visit

Surpassed Expectations with Beauty & Fun for All Ages!

We have stayed at this beautiful Lake House several times and each time we have not wanted to leave! The location of the house and the layout of the property makes this truly a gem for all ages. We had a blast on the lake with the jet skis, fishing, meals together, local restaurants, games, and relaxing with the view of the lake. The area is peaceful with little to no traffic. Great location for a couple's getaway, reunion with friends, or a family vacation! We will certainly return to the Lake House.

Heads and shoulders above other rentals!

From the very beginning with the warm and informative greeting from Kimberly you will realize that you have found a top notch accommodation. The house is outfitted with anything that you might need during your stay. Everything about the house is high quality and very comfortable. My family was here to attend a wedding and we were here for 4 nights. We wish that we were here for longer so that we could’ve taken advantage of the kayaks. It’s perfect place for kids as well. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here and I certainly hope to come back in the future!

Stay at the Lake House

Our stay was overall enjoyable. The house, comfortably nestled by the lake, provided a soothing arrival. Inside, the accommodations were cozy, and the beds were exceptional. The amenities offered were abundant. However, reducing the clutter both inside and on the porch would enhance the experience. Modern updates and renovations could also be beneficial. Additionally, replacing any broken furniture in the bedrooms and thorough dusting are recommended. Lastly, airing out the home, especially if it has been unoccupied for some time, would help dispel any musty odors upon entering. With these improvements, this lake house could become a favored retreat for many.

We are so happy to hear that your stay was enjoyable. It is our desire for every guest to have a wonderful stay and to make fun memories with their family & friends. Families often say that there was so much to do that they never left the house. There are many games & books & toys for inside fun and kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and outside games which are all included in the rental. That may have seemed like clutter but most guest really like having those things so that they don’t have to leave the house. The 80’ porch is a great gathering area with seating for many. They even filmed a segment for a TV series on that porch overlooking the lake. On occasion guest will accidentally break something and then not tell us. We will certainly look for what was broken and replace it. Thank you for calling me to say that a picture fell off the wall and broke while you were there. We like to stay in our own properties so that we can experience them just like our guest experience them, therefore we are always upgrading and making new improvements. Thank you for your suggestions!

5 stars all the way!!!

Wow! This place was amazing. We came down for a week from California with our kids, and we loved every minute. The house itself is spacious, clean, and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. And I mean everything! My son's stuffed animal broke and sure enough, I could find a sewing kit to fit it. We forgot bugspray - no problem! I needed nail polish remover - there it was! The beds are crazy comfortable and I slept so well, the AC kept us cool, and we had so many games, books, and DVDs to keep us entertained at night. The lake is gorgeous and the property was beautiful, we had everything we needed to enjoy the great outdoors. It was quiet and secluded, but also close enough to easily drive 10 minutes to any activity we wanted to do. Kimberly was so friendly and helpful, and she even left us a homemade chocolate cake to welcome us! My kids loved it! I would 100% book here again if we come back to Texas and I highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you, Kimberly, for sharing your home with us!

Fabulous Lake Fun

This property is just as described! Lots of fun in the Fabulous Texas sun! Our family enjoyed lazy warmth in the hammocks and swings, grilling outside, fishing, kayaking and lots of fun in the lake. When we wanted to come inside there were so many fun things to do. Ping pong, air hockey and oh sooo many games and movies. The kitchen was a great place too! The layout was just perfect. We could prepare meals in the kitchen and still be a part of the fun with the recreation room/den one large area. Then there was the movie room/bar. Quiet and dark for movies or video games-something for everyone! The bedrooms were set back so you could sneak off for some quiet time even though the rest of the house was hopping. I just loved it-made me want to come home and rethink my stuffy formal living room! I would say this is the perfect stay for an active family but also great for couples. With the property having such a large lakefront it is private and can be whatever you want it to be. The owners were so very helpful and accessible! I would recommend this property in a heartbeat and believe me-we can't wait to go back!!! Thank you Peters family for the wonderful experience!

Family Time

This property has a lake front location where we began our days with breathtaking sunrises. The home is roomy, with a well stocked kitchen for both preparing and serving meals. The bedrooms have nice bedding and comfy mattresses. Bathrooms are again clean, well stocked with paper products, shampoos etc. and plenty of towels. There is definitely a beach home vacation vibe here, with DVD movies, board games, a ping pong table and foosball table, and outside swings in the yard. The televisions have both cable and Netflix available. The owners were very communicative, and went an extra mile for us, providing a Christmas tree since we were renting over the holiday. If you plan a warm weather visit, there are lake activities and equipment available for you! We were there in the COLDEST part of 2022! No interest in the lake for us other then some Heron and Egret watching. We would recommend this property to you and your family.

Lovely Lakehouse

We had a great stay. This home has everything you need plus some. Very nice access to the water to pull the jet skis up on the beach. Owner is very accommodating to any questions we had.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed at this property several years ago with my parents and visiting family that lived in the area. It was so great! We all promised that need to get together soon but as years went by, seems like there was always something to get the way. My dad passed away this July, plus my mom was in the hospital at the same time and almost lost her as well. But a couple of months went by and she progressed very well, so I decided it was time to get this reunion going and couldn’t wait to get back to The house on Knob Hill. We could picture my dad was with us. It was so great

Even better than we could’ve imagined!

Kimberly was an awesome host! Check in was a breeze and check out even easier! There are so many things about this house that we love! Water toys, outdoor seating areas, sunrises over the lake from the porch! Convenient to the marina! Appliances are impeccable, and the space fit our group of nine perfectly! We cannot wait to go back!

Fantastic Experience

Jeff and Kimberly were fantastic to work with. The beds are all very comfortable, the towels were plush, the kitchen was stocked with anything you would think of. A wonderful experience from start to finish

Nice cozy house for families

We stayed here with our friends and family over Christmas 2020. lt was 4 adults and 3 children 1, 3 and 7. The place is very cozy and well stocked with everything this family with children will want or need to have fun. There rope swings in the front that kids didn't want to leave. The house is a little dated but it more than makes up with the location and amenities.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Very quiet place to hold up during difficult times. Shared in some deep conversations and thought with the view and the water. Such a gift to look at the water and feel such calm everyday. Very peaceful visit. Appreciated having more items to use like cookware and DVDs. Everything you need is there.

Jeff and Kim Peters are current residents of Frisco Texas just 16 miles from this incredible lake house. Jeff is a commercial general contractor by day and a Christian counselor by night. Kim is a distributor of nutritional products that are changing peoples lives, through the healing power of good nutrition.
Their four children and six grand children keep them both extremely busy and continually blessed.

This property was purchased as a way of getting our very active family together in one place to enjoy water sports, fishing and boating to its fullest. When we have a family weekend at this house it takes on a carnival like quality with bounce houses and water slides in the front yard, pontoon and fishing boats at the shore line and a pair of seadoo's anchored just off shore at the ready. All of our children are grown and most have children of their own, but all of them live within 30 miles of this lake house, and the fun that awaits them there.

This lake house has a view of the lake from every room in the house, most of which are huge picture windows. This lake house benefits from a location centered between many metropolitan areas, which offer sporting events, shopping, many places to eat, or listen to live music and all the cultural activities such as museums, opera houses, theaters, and convention centers. Yet it sits on a lake that is peaceful and calm, with spectacular Texas sunrises and sunsets, wildlife of all kinds, and some of the best fishing in the state of Texas. Unlike many lake retreats you do not have to give up civilization to spend time relaxing on the lake. You can play on the lake by day and go see the Cowboys play at night.
