I think the host is having issues with her cleaning service and I hate that for her but it made for a terrible trip because we had to get a hotel room at midnight and then find another place to stay.

The host was awesome. She was polite, friendly and helpful There was some delay on communication but I believe that was somewhat to do with the time differences of where we each live. The house and property were gorgeous and accurately pictured. We had a lovely time and I appreciate the host allowing us to stay in their property. They even wrote a message in chalk on the front porch saying that they hope we enjoyed our stay. We definitely did. The property was beautiful, clean, well maintained and conveniently located. It was the perfect house for our vacation needs. Thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful home! We enjoyed it!

Loved staying here. The house was PEFECT! I felt right at home. Large Kitchen, living room and the so beds were cozy and comfortable. Five minutes from Sugar Loaf ramp for the for those who tournament fish! Definitely will be back!

Great place that fit our whole family of 5 plus daughters friend. Close to Higden and Laceys marina. Great stay overall!

The house is very nice and comfortable. We loved the big yard for the grandkids to play in. It is very close to the lake attractions. Great communication with the host. We want to back in the summer!

We had to wash all the bed linens because they didn't appear to be very clean. There were dead bugs cobb and spider webs everywhere. Underneath the beds and the couch in the living room hadn't been cleaned in ages. We fried fish in the kitchen using an electric fryer and it apparently tripped a circuit breaker because it knocked out many of the electrical outlets in the kitchen including the light and fan on the range hood. The circuit breaker was inaccessible obviously in the garage which was locked. I notified the owner of the incident she stated that she would have someone come out. No one ever showed up. The wifi connection went out but there were no internet outages in the area. Notified the owner. She stated that it happens at times but it would reconnect. It reconnected the morning we were checking out. It's a nice place just needs better cleaning, better wifi connection.

Misleading listing. Unsanitary & Unsafe! This is my first ever negative review of a Vrbo. Our family travels a lot and we have seen old or imperfect places and never complained. But this was unacceptable. 1) the listing says the house has 4 bathrooms. There are only 2 bathrooms. We recorded a video and sent it to VRBO. 2) there was a lot of food leftovers in the fridge that didn’t smell well. Also, the fridge was flooded with pink like substance that had dead bugs in it and it was spreading all over the fridge shelves and mostly at the bottom where it dried up and solidified. It took about 40 minutes to clean the fridge. 3) we were tired and tried to lay down in the master bedroom. However, the sheets were covered with dried up toothpaste and some puke like brown substance in several spots. It was obvious that the sheets were not cleaned in the master bedroom. Maybe, the fitted sheet was cleaned, but not the rest. We examined the bedding in guest bedrooms and it was a similar situation. The toilet was not clean properly and there was hair on the hot tub.4) the house was infested with bugs and spiders. We understand it’s Arkansas and living here without bugs is impossible. But we have stayed in other Airbnb’s in Arkansas and around Higden and have never seen anything like this. This house needs pest control treatment ASAP. There were alive spiders and bugs living in the house (50 of various species). The Furniture had layers of dust. I could go on.

We had a lovely family trip with our kids, Very peaceful and homey atmosphere. Close access to Sugar Loaf Marina and other attractions we needed. Host was fast responding and easy to communicate with on our needs, and also very accommodating and kind. We are definitely hoping to come back again soon.

Upon arrival the property was overgrown, the porch was unclean, and the pictures did not reflect the property listing. Communication with the owner was poor and I had to reach out to VRBO and they also had issues with communication. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it, trash was still in the main bathroom, the yard and fire was overgrown with trees in the chairs, the grill is broken, and the game room console is broken as well due to a ripped cable.
