It has inspired the words of John Muir and the photographs of Ansel Adams. And soon, youll be gushing about Yosemite National Park, as well. With a visit to your resort at Bass Lake, youll be in position to explore this incredible bounty on a daily basis.
Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Bass Lake has been called "pretty as a postcard" by the Los Angeles Times and is the closest recreational lake to the park. This means hiking Yosemite by day-where youll find hidden waterfalls, mind-boggling cliffs of granite and giant Sequoias-and relaxing lakeside by night.
Theres plenty to do at the lake itself-water ski, hike, fish, ride horseback, and more. Make sure you book extra time-you dont want to miss out!
Helpful Hints
Plan a visit during April June to make sure you can view the beautiful waterfalls at Yosemite National Park.
If you plan on visiting Bass Lake during the winter months please be advised that snow chains may be required to access the resort or other local attractions.
