This was the best stay we've ever had. My son-in-law said he hasn't stayed anywhere that felt like home and that he felt relaxed enough to be his self. And they travel a lot because my granddaughters are traveling cheer leaders so they stay on the go. We enjoyed the house and the Cave a lot. Thank you both for having use stay in your home.

The house is perfect for families with kids: pool & gameroom had lots of fun activities. There were even pool towels provided! We have 2 points of feedback. The kitchen is small & isnt laid out efficiently. Appears more frequent spraying for bugs is warranted, at least on the inside.

Thank you for your five-star review. We’re glad your family enjoyed the pool, game room and activities. We were surprised by the concerns, as all communication during your stay was positive and neither issue was reported. Kitchen layout can be subjective, but the size of this kitchen has consistently received positive comments in more than 100 reviews across multiple platforms. Guests frequently praise its spaciousness, extensive appliances, quality cookware, and exceptional level of stocking. The kitchen is large enough to even have two full size refrigerators! The home also receives professional pest control every month. Your stay followed unusually heavy rainfall, which can occasionally push a small outdoor insect inside. This has never been mentioned as an ongoing concern in our reviews, but we take all feedback seriously and will continue our monthly professional service.

This home was the best it's very huge and nice so many activities through out the home. It was 16 family members in our group and we still had extra space. All the extra bathrooms help a lot. Having two refrigerators and two ovens was very nice. If anyone is looking for a nice huge place that has so many things to do this is place for you. My family absolutely love it. Mr. Davis was only a phone callaway to any question you may have. We will be planning to go again.

Incredible! Best VRBO experience we’ve ever had! Beautiful property and home. Outdoor space/pool was very private. The new game room was a huge bonus- so fun! Home was stocked with everything you’d need. The hosts communication was outstanding! Location was great being close to the airport, restaurants and River Walk. I highly recommend (and already have to friends and family)! If ever back in the area we’ll definitely stay again! Thank you for making our family vacation so awesome! I’d give you 100 stars if I could! Linda and Brian Nordmann

Our stay at this vacation rental was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the space felt thoughtfully curated—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and filled with small touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts went above and beyond, providing clear communication, local recommendations, and amenities that exceeded expectations. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor space was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring. What really set this place apart was the sense of calm and comfort it created. Every detail—from the cozy lighting to the high‑quality linens—made our stay feel elevated and effortless. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our next visit. This rental is a rare find and absolutely deserves five stars.

Beautiful property!

The property is beautiful and we enjoyed out stay. Much care was taken to provide a comfortable enjoyable experience and it was much appreciated. We have rented many VRBO homes and the extra small touches provided by this property were amazing! Our party believed that while beautiful, the beds were too hard. We recommend this property!

Hi Doug! Thank you for the great review and feedback. We always try to set our home apart from others by offering personalized service (rather than bots and AI) and attention to details to all of our guests. Sorry that you thought the the mattresses were too firm. We use the same memory foam mattresses in all of our homes and normally receive fantastic compliments. Even to the point of guests asking what brand and where did we buy them. But we understand that everyone has their own preferences. Hope to have you back in the future. You took amazing care of the home. Also, I just had a meeting with the owner and we will be adding many more amenities and fun things to do at this home in January and February! So stay tuned as it will be even better than advertised. Hope you have a fantastic Holiday Season! David

House was beautiful, clean and met the needs of my family ranging in ages from 3-45. Kids loved the game room and had a blast! The house was the most well stocked house we’ve ever stayed in! Perfect Accommodations for multi family

This home was perfect for a Family of 4 ( ages 15-65) another family of 5 ( ages 3-45) and a Family of 3 ( ages 15-48) to join together for 4 days and 5 nights. Plenty of space for food prep and storage - easy access to amenities and activities including a Gymnastic Meet in the downtown convention center. Also, so close to the airport - but I swear I never heard a plane! Really beautiful and full of games and activities for all ages.

Nice place lots of activities

Our stay was good. The house could have been cleaner. There were fingerprints all over the fridges and the cabinets. The pictures definitely do it justice. It is a lot bigger in the ad than it is in real life. The game room was a nice option to have for younger people. we definitely missed not having a hot tub.

This Spanish hacienda was even more beautiful in person. We had 4 families stay in the home last weekend and everyone enjoyed all the amenities, from the coffee bar to the heated pool that felt amazing. The kids really enjoyed it. We are not used to enjoying a pool in this cool weather. Thank you, David and Marcela, for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a great time. :)

Spanish Hacienda - Truly a Dream Home

I can’t say enough good things about this property. We checked out from a 10 day vacation today and we are sad to leave. There were 14 of us and we ALL loved the home. The pictures were a perfect representation of the property. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and effort to provide an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We all plan on staying here again. If you are a large group, definitely plan for some down time to enjoy the home and all it has to offer. Put a Pool Tournament and Foosball tournament on your list of things to do!!

Perfect spot

This property was perfect for our group of 9! Plenty of space to hang out together and still plenty of room for everyone to have their own space when desired. Rules & check in/out procedures were clearly communicated and completely reasonable. The few questions we did have were answered promptly. Everything was great and as expected based on the listing and pictures. In addition, the house was well labelled -- light switches, fan switches, cupboards, etc were all clearly labelled which made everything that much easier. Pool was perfect and the kids couldn't get enough swimming, nice that it was heated so they could keep swimming into the evening. Great location, even though close to the airport there was no issue with airplane noise. Would definitely stay again when travelling in the San Antonio area.

We had a great mini weekend get away. The house IS beautiful. We visited San Antonio for my son's birthday. The house was spacious and filled with more items than we expected (toiletries, bath and pool towels, kitchen amenities and supplies). Loved the coffee bar. The 2 fridges came in handy and were very clean. The kitchen had an electric range top which we're not used to and range top was a bit small but it all worked great. Lots of comfortable sitting areas. The game room was very nice. Two arcade games which was cool as it brought back memories from the 80s, LOL. Rooms were very comfy and the entire house esp restrooms were very clean. The backyard was also beautiful and the pool was very well kept. Everyone enjoyed being in the pool; again, lots of sitting areas. Did not encounter any issues where we needed to contact host. Host sent clear instructions before and during our stay. Would definitley recommend this home!
