Shorebreak on Bastimentos is an eco-friendly custom waterfront home. Step off the deck and place your feet directly into the warm Caribbean. Only a few small steps from the ocean water this custom home is located on the Island of Bastimentos, Bocas del Toro, Panama. Amazing views! The entire front of the house is rotating glass doors allowing you to scope out the surf breaks while enjoying your meals. Rainwater collection, hot water, open floor plan, sleeps 6 and children are welcome (2 queen beds, 2 singles (bunkbeds), and hammocks to rest in!). Large natural stone bathroom with dual shower heads. Caretaker on site for all inquires.
If you enjoy water activities, this is the place! This home is located directly on the sea with major surf destinations visible from the front porch. And yes, one is directly in front! Enjoy amazing snorkeling, scuba diving, paddle boarding or kayaking while island hoping! Each island in this chain is only a few minutes apart by boat. Water taxis are available to take you from island to island or on a guided tour. Or stay in.
Bastimentos Island has wonderful untouched white sand beaches, including Red Frog, Wizard and Polo Beach. You can also enjoy zip lining through the canopy or taking a guided cave tour, plus surfing, bars, restaurants, and so much more.

We stumbled onto Bocas Del Toro, backpacking through central America: puddle jumper style. But once we landed, we didn't leave. The islands are breathtaking. The people are healthy, fun and speak multiple languages fluently; including English, Spanish, Guari Guari, and Local tribal languages too. Bastimentos Island is calm, local, and there are no cars! It is paradise, plain and simple.

We designed and built this unique house. It is a family style open floor plan with handmade movable privacy screens throughout. The entire front of the home is a glass rotating wall overlooking the ocean. We even designed and built most of the furniture in the home from scratch! Here is a list of this homes amenities:

Dual Shower Natural Stone Bathroom including a Rock formed sink.
Lots of sleeping spots+ (Two queens, One full futon, & Two singles via bunk beds) and 3 hanging hammocks to enjoy!

SUP Paddle Board available to cruise the islands. Plus we have two guest surf boards to go hit the breaks! Also, two kayaks to paddle around! Yes! We let you borrow our toys to enjoy the amazing ocean out front!!
