Exceptional clean property, we appreciate the no pets as we had littles with allergies. Location was great, even though not directly on the beach, the views from main floor and porches were great and literally short walk across the road from diveway to access boardwalk to beach, you could also hear the ocean waves at night when quiet. Pool was great as well. House was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of room throughout. The only bummer of the trip was drizzle rain and no sun the entire stay, first time ever in almost 30 years of gulf beach trips. Still, house was great, food from local restaurants was great, and enjoyed local shopping in Appalachia. If you are looking for beautiful beaches, family safe, mom and pop local great restaurants, a place where everyone walks, bikes or golf carts, this is your place.

What a wonderful time! Clean and SO comfortable. We really appreciated the beach chairs and the pool. Can't wait to come back to SGI!!

First of all this place is new and is spotless. It has not been worn down by time. Very neat and clean. Description is accurate. Very nice pool. Access to beach is fast and easy. Beds are comfortable. Showers are awesome! Nice and roomy with plenty of hot water. Kitchen is well equipped and very adequate. Living room needs one or two more comfortable chairs but I freely admit I don’t know where you would put more. Nice driveway. Paved not just rocks and sand. Grill was nice to have and downstairs area is a plus. Convenient to everything on the island. Oh yeah, awesome porch facing the ocean. I would highly recommend this home. My family will almost certainly return in the future.

My family and I enjoyed this home, it was beautifully decorated, the amenities were exceptional! The pictures on the website do not do it's justice.Elaine, the home owner reached out before our stay and was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this home to everyone. When we return to the island we will definitely return to this beautiful home. Thank you for an awesome vacation home.

We stayed at this property during Tropical Storm/Hurricane Bertha, so we ended up spending much more time indoors than we had originally planned. Overall, the home was beautiful, exactly as advertised, and we really loved the updates throughout the property.We planned this vacation as a last-minute trip, and with a 15-hour drive to get there, we could only pack so much. There is a lot to think about and plan for when traveling that distance. Since we were indoors for extended periods because of the weather, having a few board games or puzzles available would be a wonderful addition, especially for families. We only packed a few card games due to our limited packing space. A pitcher in the kitchen would also be a helpful convenience for making drinks, especially for larger families like ours. You might also consider adding an iron to the list of amenities for guests who may be planning family photos or other special occasions.The bathrooms could have used just a little extra attention from the cleaning crew before our arrival, but overall the home was very nice, and we truly enjoyed our stay. I tend to be very particular about kitchens and bathrooms when we travel, and I always inspect them upon arrival and sometimes even giving them an extra cleaning myself, so others may not have noticed the same things I do. We definitely plan to return to the area, and this property will be at the top of our list.

Awesome Property!! Everything you need and then some! Plenty of room for our family. The house was so clean & the kitchen had everything you need to prepare a meal. We enjoyed dipping in the pool after a hot day on the beach. Walking distance (for us) to the lighthouse. The kids enjoyed riding their bikes on the trail. Elaine was very responsive to questions!! 10/10. We will be back.

Great location, easy short walk to the beach. Convenient to everything. The kids loved the pool. The guys loved grilling fish and watching the outdoor TV. The kitchen had everything we needed. Great week at the beach with our family!
