Beautiful, comfortable and located perfectly. It was so very well appointed, the pool was great and just a few steps from the beach. One of the best places we have stayed in the last 20 years coming to St George. Absolutely no complaints. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfect. House is just beautiful, so close to the water, great views, and very clean pool. We ate out every night on and off the island, but the kitchen is set up with everything you might need for cooking. We would highly recommend this stay!

Highly recommend!

The location was perfect. Communication was great! One of the cleanest homes we’ve ever stayed at. It was perfect for our big family!

Amazing home!

Beautiful beach views, quick walk to the beach. This home is decorated so beautifully. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Family Vacation

First time staying on St George Island. We couldn’t ask for a better host or a better location. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely be back.

Awesome stay!

We loved this house! Very clean, very roomy, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful view from multiple relaxing porches, peaceful area and great pool for the kids. Super easy walk to the beach across quiet street…beach chairs and umbrella provided:) Owners are very responsive! Thank you for a great stay!! We can’t wait to come back!!

Relaxing Vacation

The house was beautiful! The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to make a great dinner and doing it was a view of the Gulf. The kids loved the pool and how close we were to the beach

Family Vacation

Great house and views. Easy, fast walk to the very quiet beach. We love St. George Island and this house was perfect for our family. Grandkids really enjoyed the pool.

Host was very accommodating to do a Sunday through Saturday stay. The home has perfect views of the gulf from both balconies. The kitchen was great for cooking a few meals in during the week. The home is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The only con would be that the fourth upstairs bedroom doesn’t have a door so noise from the main level carries up the steps. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Perfect!!

We had a fantastic week, everything was perfect. Our favorite was nightly bike rides for ice cream and early morning walks looking for turtle nest! 3 new ones during our stay. Everything was great the home, walk to the beach, the pool!

Great place

Steps away from the very nice not crowded beach- pool- fun for kids- Home pristine clean Kitchen had enough equipment for cooking No gas grill- but weber kettle for grilling Plenty of space for our family to spread out

Another Great Stay at this House!

Our family of 10 had another great stay at this incredible St. George Island Vrbo! The house truly exceeds our expectations. The layout is perfect, it offers plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The pool was absolutely amazing and quickly became part of our day before and after the beach. The location couldn't be better. The views are stunning, and the short walk to the empty beach made it feel like our own little paradise!

Dream House

This was one of the most well-appointed homes we’ve ever rented! We had 3 couples and 1 single adult with us and everyone has their own restroom and comfy bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several family meals. We really enjoyed the pool and grill area as well. This was our first time on the east end and we loved how quiet it was but still a quick golf cart ride to center of the island. 10 out of 10!

We loved our stay here! Beautifully maintained home with everything you could need or want! My wife and I stayed here with our three teenage daughters and my mother, there was room for everyone to spread out and have time together. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable, the kitchen has everything a cook could want. The elevator was a lifesaver for my mother in helping her get around. The pool was perfect with a view of the ocean and a short walk to the beach. Karen and Linda were great to work with, we will definitely be staying here again! Thank you!

We checked in Saturday around 4:00 pm and discovered the indoor temperature was between 87 and 85. The owner was immediately contacted and responded quickly. There really was not much she could do on a Saturday late afternoon/evening. An HVAC repair crew did show up mid day Sunday and “fixed” the problem but it took three more days with the curtains closed, windows shut and assuring all doors stayed shut for the inside temperature to go below 75 degrees. We bought 1/2 a dozen fans and that helped. We have gone to St. George Island annually for about ten years the week before our two teachers go back to work. It is something we look forward to and cherish. Our accommodations for the first two days was absolutely unbearable but we had no alternatives and the next two days bearable but not comfortable. On night two and to the owner’s credit she got us a 250 gift certificate at a local restaurant which was much appreciated. However, for what we were paying to live in that place for two extremely uncomfortable days/nights and two more just uncomfortable days and nights we feel like the product did not preform to a minimum standard of comfort. The owner quit responding when we mentioned the above discomfort and dissatisfaction with her place. She did not step up. Some of our group of nine never got over the four days of uncomfortable living. It was not fun!! And no financial relief was offered. Very dissatisfied. Avoid during hot weather!!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry your stay was impacted by an unexpected air conditioning failure, especially during one of the hottest weekends of the year. As soon as you notified us of the issue on Saturday afternoon, we immediately began working to resolve it. Despite it being a weekend during peak season, we were able to have an HVAC technician at the property within approximately 12 hours on Sunday morning, which is often difficult to arrange. After the repair, the system required time to cool the home after it had reached extremely high indoor temperatures, but we remained in contact throughout the process. To help make up for the inconvenience, we provided your entire group with a $250 gift certificate to a local restaurant, which we hoped would allow you to enjoy an evening out while the home continued cooling. We also accommodated your request the day before your arrival to bring a pet, even though our property has a clearly stated no-pets policy, because we wanted to be as flexible as possible. While we understand the frustration of experiencing an unexpected mechanical issue during a vacation, we respectfully disagree with the characterization that we “did not step up.” We responded promptly, secured emergency service as quickly as possible, and provided compensation during your stay. Unfortunately, mechanical systems can fail without warning despite regular maintenance. Finally, after your departure, our team discovered significant damage to the property that required repairs before welcoming our next guests. We strive to provide every guest with an excellent experience and regret that this unforeseen equipment failure affected your vacation.
