Cozy home to relax in after a fun day enjoying the area's many attractions

This late 40's home has a newly remodeled interior with two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. There is also a Queen futon. Dinning room with seating for 4, cook wear, dishes, linens, internet and smart tv, everything you will need to make your stay comfortable, including a washer and dryer. We do allow approved well behaved, house trained dogs up to 2 (must be crated if left in house unattended). We do not allow cats. You can view the ocean and amazing sun sets from the sitting porch after your day of exploring.

Perfect in every way!

Located just a couple of blocks from the Crescent Beach overlook and within 5 miles of just about everything we came to see/experience, this house is beautifully appointed, well-managed, and we would definitely stay here again if/when we return to the area. A++++ iin every way.

Charming home

This clean and cozy home had everything we needed for our visit to the Redwoods and surrounding areas. The neighborhood was quiet, and just two blocks from a coast access point. We would stay here again!

Great stay

This VRBO met and exceeded our expectations. The ocean was visible from the front of the home and a short walking distance. It was well appointed with all we needed. The manager was easy to contact and quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable house in good location

We came to see the redwoods, but also saw the ocean, sea lions, and elk. We came back to a clean and comfortable house with everything we needed.

Great Home Base for Exploring

This location was a great home base to explore the area. We spent two days hiking trails around the local Redwood State Parks and then took one day to drive north to Brookings and explore some of the Oregon Coast.

Comfortable and convenient

This was a great little home away from home during our vacation. Very comfortable and conveniently located. A great place for a young family to crash at the end of a long day exploring the redwoods and the coast.

Nice Beach house

This place has lots of nice amenities that make it feel like home. Short walk to the beach, convenient to restaurants and a 15 minute drive to the Redwoods. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would love to stay here again, next time we come through the area.

Super close to the beach!

We had the best time staying at this location. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. My family and I enjoyed walking to the beach each day. Will be back!

Lovely Pet Friendly Home

Returning customer and was not disappointed. Home is very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Everything you need. Owners are very responsive even while traveling. Thank you ladies. Will definitely stay again feels like home.

Great access to the Redwoods and beach!

We had the perfect stay! Everything we could have wanted was thought of and it was almost like being at home. We were very comfortable and enjoyed relaxing together in the evening, cooking our meals, and being able to go out and see the sights during the day without a terribly long drive. Communication with the host was perfect and they were so kind and thoughtful. Thank you for making our birthday vacation trip so great!

A little house by the sea

Location to the fantastic driftwood beach was great and the town was easy to get around and find other parks and beach that was in the bay, very calm rock and driftwood free beach. I would highly recommend a walk through the nearby redwood forest and the tour of the 1856 Battery Point lighthouse, Lighthouse Jetty and tidepools and the Rumiano cheese store. The house was well furnished and certainly roomy for 4 people. If I had any comment about what I'd do different is that I would make sure to use all cotton sheets. Communication with the host was fantastic.

Relaxing

Have stayed here before. I probably get the best sleep. Rain, ocean and close to Forrest trails this location can be very relaxing. Property owner takes great care to make sure you have what you need. You can tell they care.

Great Place!

Perfect for us and our small pet! Host went above and beyond for our pet-friendly stay and the house was very clean and hospitable- even leaving us a local gift in the fridge! Great place and will stay here again when visiting.

Relaxing Get Away

The house was clean and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked with gear, and a few cooking staples. There were plenty of blankets and covers for the furniture so our 2 little dogs were comfortable too. Location was close to beach walking or taking in sights around the light house. Shopping and dining out were also conveniently close. Maybe we'll get to stay again in the future... fingers crossed!

COZY AND COMFORTABLE

Wonderful location. Very Comfortable, twins a little hard but doable. Lots of space. Crescent City if wonderful, Redwoods about 6 miles a way, ocean two blocks from home. Would love to come back for a full week and have family come from Portland/Colorado to join us. Seaquake Brewery is a must, love Wicked Aunt Tammy!

Perfect location

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. It was close to dining options, tourist attractions, and various redwood parks. The home and yard are well maintained. The host provides cooking and dish ware, a dog kennel, dog bowl and blankets, lots of fresh linens and towels, and even a pack and play was in one of the closets! If you find yourself looking for a place to stay in this area, this is a good one!

We moved to the Del Norte area in 1986 and live on a ranch in Big Flat surrounded by wilderness. We raise cattle and sheep on the ranch and several horses. We purchased the coastal house for a rental in town and remodeled the inside with our daughter's help in 2012.
