Cozy home to relax in after a fun day enjoying the area's many attractions

This late 40's home has a newly remodeled interior with two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. There is also a Queen futon. Dinning room with seating for 4, cook wear, dishes, linens, internet and smart tv, everything you will need to make your stay comfortable, including a washer and dryer. We do allow approved well behaved, house trained dogs up to 2 (must be crated if left in house unattended). We do not allow cats. You can view the ocean and amazing sun sets from the sitting porch after your day of exploring.

Cute and clean!

We loved our stay! The house was very clean and comfortable and exactly as advertised! We walked to nearby beaches in the evenings and spent days exploring redwoods and the coast! Everything was perfect and we would love to come back!

Lovely home. Very clean and had nice kitchen amenities. Everything in perfect working order. Bed so comfy and sheets were superb. Contact with host was prompt and pleasant. 2 blocks from beach. Can see ocean from front porch! Lovely anniversary trip to Crescent city CA.

We enjoyed staying in the cute house with our dog versus the impersonal setting of a hotel room. The property was roomy and cozy with all the modern amenities. The location was perfect and the sunny porch was nice to sit on after a full day of hiking in the redwoods. We would stay here again and were very pleased.

Ideal Family Retreat That Felt Like Home

We just wrapped up a wonderful family getaway here. The house had everything we needed—from fresh towels and toiletries to a fully stocked kitchen that made meal prep a breeze. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the game selection and spent hours playing together.The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and we loved being just a few minutes from shops, parks, and beaches. The host was super responsive and our check-in went without a hitch. It felt like a home away from home, and we left feeling relaxed and recharged. Highly recommend this spot for any family looking for a comfortable, hassle-free stay!

Fabulous!

My family of 4 stayed in Crescent City at this Vrbo for 2 nites while we explored the Red Woods. What a wonderful time we had! Gorgeous coast and the majestic red woods were so fabulous! The mud on the Boy Scout trail wore us all out, but we slept so comfortable and felt at home in this clean and cozy home. The location was perfect for accessing grocers and restaurants we needed. We all felt we would stay again in the future! Thank you Kittie for being a wonderful host :)

Comfortable house in good location

We came to see the redwoods, but also saw the ocean, sea lions, and elk. We came back to a clean and comfortable house with everything we needed.

Lovely Pet Friendly Home

Returning customer and was not disappointed. Home is very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Everything you need. Owners are very responsive even while traveling. Thank you ladies. Will definitely stay again feels like home.

Close to the beach & Jedediah

Cute house with nice touches. House was well equipped with everything we needed. Super close proximity to the beach and 1/2 mile walk to the town brewery. We had a wonderful stay!

Relaxing

Have stayed here before. I probably get the best sleep. Rain, ocean and close to Forrest trails this location can be very relaxing. Property owner takes great care to make sure you have what you need. You can tell they care.

COZY AND COMFORTABLE

Wonderful location. Very Comfortable, twins a little hard but doable. Lots of space. Crescent City if wonderful, Redwoods about 6 miles a way, ocean two blocks from home. Would love to come back for a full week and have family come from Portland/Colorado to join us. Seaquake Brewery is a must, love Wicked Aunt Tammy!

Comfortable and cozy beach house

We stayed at the beach house for Christmas. The house was clean, cozy, and comfortable. There was even a small Christmas tree and a local beer for us to enjoy when we arrived. You can hear and see the ocean from the house. We had everything we needed to have a nice visit with our daughter and grandson who live close by and enjoy coming to the coast. A Very quick one block walk to the beach and the view of the lighthouse is gorgeous. The whole area is very nice. We enjoyed going to the House of Jambalaya for “the night before the night before Christmas” event, there was live music, good food, and storytelling. We wished we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning to the beach house in the future.

Beautiful newly renovated home

The house was incredibly inviting. Beautifully decorated, without knickknacks, ocean decor. Beautiful curtains that look new, recently painted walls with great colors, numerous bathroom towels & washcloths artfully rolled and displayed in baskets and wooden shelves, well stocked kitchen, coffee Krueger, wide assortment of teas, flavored teas, welcome card, cold beer and cold glasses. Very clean, tile floors, plenty of hot water, excellent location close to beach, could hear sea lions, smell the sea air, beach portable barbecue grill, coolers, lovely bedspreads, attractive patio furniture, basket of dog toys, poop bags, & dog , big sheets, big side & front lawn , plenty of parking, new tub and shower, dog crate , child’s play & pack in closet, new windows with screens, porch, outside lights. Couch, rocking chair futon that serves as an additional couch. Hosts were communicative & even called us to tell us that the highway was closed due to fires. These hosts obviously want to provide a cozy warm house for their guests. We are grateful that we could stay there and recommend it.

Full disclosure would have changed my decision to rent

Yes the property is clean, and yes the property is a short walk from ocean views. And yes there is a heater in the property. What was not disclosed was that the "heater" is a space heater and for a rental in February, or any cold month, it is not sufficient to warm the open area of kitchen dining and living room. To be warm one has to sit within six feet of the heater. The floors are cold given the uninsulated crawl space below and the only place to be warm in either of the bedrooms is in bed under the covers. This might be a charming place in summer but for winter months, the failure to inform about insufficient heating is completely misleading. The property was so uncomfortable, the only way to stay warm other than inform of the heater, was to be bundled up as if I was outside. I shortened my visit by several days. I believe the rate changed for the services provided was egregious given the circumstances and a motel room would have been both warmer and less expensive. The "Pantry items" listed as amenities included sugar, salt and pepper packets, tea bags and a Keurig coffee maker. No oil, vinegar or real coffee making apparatus to be found. I had rented another property nearby in the past (unavailable for this time frame) that was equipped more generously, had central heat and felt like a well loved home. The overall feeling here was sterile and cold. I won't be back.

The place was great with lots of amenities. The hostess was friendly and helpful. The location was close to the beach and redwoods. It was stocked with everything we needed. It was also clean and organized. I look forward to returning.

Kitchen was great for cooking. Nice size laundry room and was well stocked to meet our laundry needs The bed in the master bedroom was way too soft and needs to be replaced
