Your family will love this spacious 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath home featuring awesome river views from Living room, Dining room, Kitchen and Family room. 1 1/2 car garage with parking for additional 2-3 vehicles in driveway. Enjoy four outdoor living spaces, a flagstone patio with fire pit, wood deck and a patio off the living room all overlooking the river. Stairs down the bank to the river with a small landing to enjoy the river up close and personal.

In addition you can enjoy a ping pong table and regulation horseshoe pits for your family outdoor entertainment.

Perfect in so many ways!

Peaceful and beautiful

Wonderful holiday in the Redwoods

Wow. You walk into this place and immediately see the beautiful river, surrounding trees, and great home to soak it all in. We loved making special meals in the well equipped kitchen. Family enjoyed dining together, playing board games, and celebrating the holiday in this great location.

Comfortable, Calm, Spacious

The scenery around the cabin is astonishingly beautiful. The cabin is comfortable, well furnished, spacious, and cozy. Everything went just right! It was a perfect place for a late fall hiking trip to the Redwoods, and I will be booking this location again in the near future. The host always responded timely when I had a question. The five stars are well deserved.

Cozy home with amazing views.

The home had everything we needed for our 3-day stay. Our children loved the yard and river to play in. The home is a little bit out of town, but the town itself isn't much to write home about so we were glad we went with the beautiful location. The beds were comfy and the home was clean. The only downside was the home smelled old and musty. However, we opened the windows and the next day the smell didn’t bother us. There were also wild blackberries lining the street which we enjoyed picking for breakfast. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys an outdoor space to relax in when they travel.

Redwood Trip

My friend and I travelled to North Georgia to hike the redwoods. We absolutely loved the house. The proximity to the river is fantastic and the neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet.

Perfect little getaway on the river.

This rental was spotless, spacious, and perfectly located for River access, fishing and just enjoying the wildlife. It was nicely decorated with comfy beds, Nice linens. All the things you would need in the kitchen. Highly recommended. kitchen to cook

Beautiful and Relaxing

We had been on a whirl wind road trip from TX. Visiting friends and family all through CA. It was so nice to arrive at the River House and just relax. It had everything we needed, so only left for groceries and to walk the beach one day. So many places to sit and have morning coffee and evening wine time. I think we tried them all. Beautiful and relaxing. We had hoped to fish, but the river was closed to fishing. I guess it was a low time of year. Still, we would stay again.

Beautiful view of the Smith River with good access. Large nicely decorated and comfortable home located in a quiet neighborhood in the Redwoods. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Smith River Panorama

View beside pristine Smith River fantastic and access excellent. Many outdoor sitting areas to view and relax just staring at the river. Plenty of comfortable indoor spaces to have conversations and relax watching movies. On a cul-de-sac so not much traffic and quiet. Hummingbirds at feeders constantly! Clear flowing river sounds sitting under the giant redwoods in backyard, sipping coffee- very memorable. A peaceful, enjoyable stay.

River House

Great as usual. Have stayed there many times and the house/location is as restful as always. Really couldn't be a more peaceful place to stay. Fishing was slow this time of year but golf at Salmon Run was excellent. Would recommend most highly.

Attention to Detail at a perfect getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location on the river and the various sitting areas they provide outside allow you to enjoy all of it all day and into the night. Everything in the home was clean...and even bottles in refrigerator of condiments were clean which is unusual. The 4 ice trays were full with fresh water so popped them out and refilled trays, which again, you often find old ice in the freezer. Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen items, seating inside and out. a clean garage with all kinds of toys..bikes, ping pong, darts, fins....This is a remote area and the peacefullness and the dozens of visits each day from multiple hummingbirds was great. And everything in the home worked. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful!

The river house was perfect for our stay outside Crescent City. Loved the house and the yard, was hard to leave! With the Ocean, Redwoods, and Smith river at our fingertips, who could ask for more! Only thing I would mention is the bikes are not in great shape. This was not a problem for us, but future guests might find helpful if they were planning on using them. The best river getaway!

The property is amazing. You can’t beat having your own access to the Smith River! We loved sitting outside listening to the river and roasting s’mores at the fire pit. The kids loved swimming down the rapids. The house was very clean and had everything you’d need for your stay! It was so peaceful there!
