We enjoyed our stay at this new property in Shadyside very much . We enjoyed the location a lot . We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants in Shadyside . The apartment was very clean . Thank you !

Room was clean and well supplied with necessities such as towels and coffee and tea; communication with host was easy; pet friendly; loved that this unit had an assigned parking. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Jake

This listing is in a great location and we found the host to be very, very responsive and easy to deal with. The apartment was also quite clean and had everything we needed inside. It also had a nice outdoor balcony which with the weather good was nice to be able to use. The apartment building is also fairly new. That said, the walls and floors/ceiling are very thing and we were awakened each night in the middle of the night (midnight, 1am, etc.) with someone clomping down the hallway above us over and over again. (I don't think they were being especially noisy--see above on thin barriers between units). We also got the feeling that things were barely attached to the walls--several fixtures seemed precariously nailed or screwed in. Just opening the shade to the patio, one of the slats came off and several were already off so we didn't have full coverage of the door. My only other complaint is not applicable to most people but with two kids under age 5, there wasn't anywhere for them to sit. The apartment only had high stools, not any standard height chairs at a kitchen table or somesuch. This made meals tricky. All that said, with the responsiveness of host, great location, and price/value, I would still recommend this, especially if you are a heavy sleeper or night owl and not bothered by hearing your neighbors or fellow roomies.

Being in a newer multi-unit building, some sounds from neighboring units can carry, and we understand that can be more noticeable at night. We’ll also take a closer look at the fixtures and the patio shade, and we appreciate you bringing those details to our attention.
