This cabin is located in a beautiful, peaceful, part of Gallia County Ohio. The views are breathtaking. The property is decorated beautifully and has a large gazebo to sit in that looks pretty at nights with the lights on. It also has a grill for outdoor BBQ beside the gazebo. I especially enjoyed how they had the fire pit arranged and outdoor chairs were provided in gazebo as well as a nice picnic table where I enjoyed sitting, reading, and writing while looking at the hills full of trees. The location is very private as well. Inside was stunningly decorated in a country style to accent the setting of the property. It has everything you need in the kitchen and everything was spotless. The shower was my favorite part of the bathroom it has a very nice water flow from a large shower head and very very clean as well. A washer and dryer are provided in the bathroom area as well. They appeared new and washed and dried clothes great. The best part was everything you could need was provided. Paper plates, cups, coffee cups with a top of the line Keurig with the pods provided as well and creamer options in the fridge. I have stayed in many cabins and never seen one that you didn't need to bring anything to. Towels, paper towels, toilet, paper, hand wipes, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies. I could keep going on because the hosts have thought to provide everything and then some. I went for rest and relaxation and left feeling renewed in body, mind, and spirit. A must place to visit.

We hope you left with wonderful memories, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime for another peaceful getaway!

My wife and I live in Ohio and built Haan Hollow as a place where people can slow down, unplug, and enjoy nature. We enjoy spending time outdoors, watching wildlife, sitting around a campfire, and sharing this peaceful property with others. As hosts, we take pride in keeping the cabin clean, comfortable, and well-maintained while respecting our guests’ privacy. Whether you’re here for a quiet getaway, a work stay, or simply to enjoy the sounds of nature, we hope you’ll feel right at home at Haan Hollow.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We fell in love with this area because of its peaceful setting, rolling hills, and abundance of wildlife. Haan Hollow sits in a quiet valley surrounded by woods, where guests can enjoy birds, deer, wild turkeys, owls, and beautiful night skies. While the property feels secluded, it’s still close enough to explore Gallipolis, Point Pleasant, local parks, and other attractions in southeastern Ohio. One of our favorite things is simply sitting by the fire pit or in the gazebo and listening to nature.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Haan Hollow is a private retreat tucked into a peaceful hollow on 12 acres in the rolling hills of southeastern Ohio. Guests enjoy a handcrafted log cabin, a large lighted log gazebo, a fire pit under the stars, abundant wildlife, and the quiet sounds of nature—including owls, whip-poor-wills, and songbirds.

Unlike many cabins, the property offers plenty of open space to relax, explore, and unwind while still being close to local attractions. Guests can enjoy morning coffee on the porch, evenings around the fire, birdwatching from the feeder station, and the serenity of a secluded country setting.

The cabin combines rustic charm with modern comforts, including heating and air conditioning, a full bathroom, kitchenette, washer and dryer, Roku TV, and high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful work retreat, or a place to disconnect and recharge, Haan Hollow offers a unique blend of comfort, privacy, and natural beauty.
