Tucked along the Stockport Creek and surrounded by trees, Blue Heron House blends Hudson Valley charm with the ease of modern design. The home sleeps six guests comfortably across three bedrooms and features open, light-filled spaces designed for connection and calm.

Living & Dining:
The vaulted-ceiling living room invites cozy nights with plush seating, a Smart TV, and views of the trees beyond. Just off the main seating area is a dedicated workspace — perfect for remote work, journaling, or creative projects. The adjacent dining area seats six and flows into a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, complete with quality cookware, modern appliances, and thoughtful touches for easy entertaining.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms:
- Upstairs Bedroom (King + Ensuite Bath) – A private retreat with soft linens, natural light, and a full bath.
- Downstairs Bedrooms (Two Queens) – Warm and comfortable, each with crisp bedding and ample storage, sharing a second full bath between them.
- Both bathrooms are stocked with plush towels, hair dryers, and starter toiletries.

Eve was wonderful and her home is exactly as described. Our stay was perfect and Eve took the time to add all the touches that made our stay feel like home.

Our family stayed here for a weekend and wish we were there longer! This place is the perfect getaway if you’re visiting Hudson or to have a chance to be immersed in nature. Eve gave us some really good recommendations for Hudson which we really enjoyed too! The house is super cute and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was our absolute favorite part of the house, the property is large and is right on the water, we loved hanging out there skipping stones, dipping our feet and watching all the birds. It was so peaceful to sit under the shade of the trees there. Also loved having the chance to bbq outside and have dinner al fresco! There was a nice hot tub but we didn’t end having enough time to use it. Another bonus was that this place was a perfect place for a dark sky to see stars at nightWish we had more time but definitely would stay again!

We had a wonderful winter weekend in Hudson at Blue Heron. The house was super cute, conveniently located to downtown Hudson and comfortable. Being next to a river was so relaxing, we loved hanging out by the fire pit and enjoying the hot tubThe beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were stocked with everything you’d need. We’ll definitely be back

We had a great time, though brief, at Blue Heron House. Eve was great at communicating everything ahead of time. The hot tub was my favorite part with a beautiful view. We weren't able to make a fire but liked that there was the option. The house was clean and well appointed with many amenities. We had dinner at Shadow 66, which we highly recommend! We would definitely come back with friends in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy home! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and private, while still being conveniently close to the downtown area, making it easy to enjoy nearby shops, restaurants and walking trails.The river is such a beautiful backdrop. It really felt like the perfect balance of privacy and being close to everything.The host included so many thoughtful little touches that made the stay feel like a true home away from home. There was seasoned wood ready for fires, a bottle of wine waiting for us, and a s’mores kit that was such a fun and thoughtful surprise. One of our guests even took advantage of the free weights for a workout, and having laundry available was another great convenience. The house is clean and has several little nooks and seating areas for gathering.On the cooler nights, we especially enjoyed the plush, cozy blankets — they made the home feel even more warm and inviting.Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, and we truly felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay. It was a wonderful getaway, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Blue Heron House! This was our first time using Vrbo and it truly exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, everything was seamless and stress-free.The home is beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. you can tell a lot of care has gone into every detail. It was spotless, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable. The creekside setting made it feel peaceful and private, and we especially loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. It’s the perfect balance of quiet retreat while still being just a short drive to Hudson.The host was welcoming, responsive, and made everything so easy. And as a bonus, our furry boy loved it just as much as we did!We genuinely loved every part of our stay and can’t wait to come back again soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Perfect Hudson Valley Girls weekend! The house was gorgeous, so incredibly clean, comfortable beds, beautiful outdoor fire pit area with jacuzzi overlooking the river. All the little efforts were put into the property to make it feel like an intimate home, like providing plenty of additional towels for the jacuzzi, shampoo / conditioner in the showers and more. We were able to spend each day in Hudson downtown enjoying all the boutiques and restaurants because it was such an easy drive into town. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!Lastly, shoutout to our host who was on point with communication and even surprised us with a s’mores kit which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you again!
