We had an amazing week in Randy’s spotless home. The location was perfect, with afternoon walks to Point Defiance and Ruston Way, followed by relaxing evenings on the porch. Randy’s thoughtful hospitality made our stay so enjoyable. Everything was perfect!

Randy is a great host

Helped me navigate my transportation needs so attending a workshop in Gig Harbor was doable. He provides a comfy space, and it is within walking distance to the waterfront.

Best vacay rental of my life!

*clean space *beyond awesome host, who is thoughtful and helpful from towels and robes to chocolates, treats, and even vino. a variety of coffee and all the fixins makes things so easy, as a traveler, which in turn means we were able to relax earlier in the trip. *the yard is relaxing, including the hammock *easy trip, made in part by the able host Randy and his wonderful,charming spot and major efforts to help with anything *would recommend and also love to return someday

Awesome property, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, comfortable and located in a great neighborhood and hade cue view of the water. Very close to restaurants, shopping and parks. The host was very accommodating, communicative and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I’ve used Vrbo a lot over the years and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great Vacation!

We loved staying at this property. It was clean, very well stocked and beautifully decorated. Randolph was a fantastic host! I highly recommend staying at his place!

Randy, his VRBO, and the surrounding area are all fabulous!

Randy was the perfect host. Respectful, friendly & helpful. The apartment was incredibly clean and well put together. That part of town had great access to everything I needed.

Pampered in Point Defiance

We had a wonderful stay at Randy's lovely home in Ruston/Point Defiance, WA. It is a great location, just minutes from the waterfront and the beautiful new Point Defiance Park. The home was very clean and well equipped. Very comfortable bed and sofa sleeper and great bathroom! Lovely yard with access to nicely furnished patio. (We hope you are able to enjoy some great sunsets like were.) We have only wonderful comments about the property, but even better was Randy's hospitality!! Communication before and throughout our stay was quick, easy and effective. Randy greeted us when we arrived to give us details about the property. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a generous selection of treats and drinks which Randy left to welcome us, even taking into consideration the dietary restrictions we have! He even dropped off a dessert from a specialty bakery in Seattle one day during our two week stay!! We really didn't have any "needs" after we arrived but Randy was always available with answers and suggestions when we reached out to him with questions. I believe Randy truly loves providing a wonderful, relaxing location for his guests and it brings him great pleasure when they enjoy their stay at his property. Terrific Property! Wonderful Location! Great Price! AWESOME HOST! Without a doubt, RANDY IS THE BEST HOST we have ever stayed with at a short term rental property!!! We plan to return as often as possible and highly recommend this wonderful Home away from Home!!

Terrific host and accommodations

Randolph was a terrific host, friendly and efficient. The accommodation were comfortable and clean, the location super convenient for everything I wanted to get to, and the fruit and cheese tray was delicious. I'll stay there again when I visit next.

Amazing location, amazing owner, amazing amenities. Randy was accommodating, informative and just plain nice! Location

Great property for sightseeing the area of Seattle and Tacoma. Host Randy goes over the top to make sure you have everything you need at the property. He is there for checkin with cookies, wine, and other goodies. Easy communication. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Above and Beyond superhost

We chose this place for the location and got much more than we expected. The place is clean and couldnt imagine us needing anything else that was made available.

Fantastic location, accommodations AND host

We had a short stay while preparing for our relocation to the area, and loved this place. Randall is the best VRBO host we've ever had. The unit was clean and super well stocked to make our stay extra easy - the house is located very close to Point Defiance and great restaurants. We plan to suggest Randall's place to any visitors after we've moved to the Tacoma ourselves very soon.

Location, location . . .

Didn't have a car this trip. Didn't need one. Tacoma is a great walking town and this places you a healthy walk away from almost anything you need. Antique Sandwich Co. a few blocks away along with the sedate neighborhood restaurant Macaluso. A short walk further puts you in Pt. Defiance Park or on the Ruston waterfront. The essential place, Metropolitan Market, is a few miles away. Either a serious walk or Uber through Tacoma's beautiful North End. Randy is a wonderful host, there to show you around at first and always a text away. I live in an old house so was impressed by the "smart" aspects of the place, climate controlled by tablet etc. There is everything I could need and some good Washington wine too which put it over the top. Best of all was the quiet. City sounds are far away, not intrusive like in L. A. One of my new favorite places to stay.

Wonderful Stay

Our stay was amazing! We couldn’t of asked for a nicer location. Everything we could possibly need was ready and waiting for our arrival including the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever tasted! Randy was a great host, very conscientious! We will be sure to book again when we’re back in the area!

This place is JUST RIGHT as Goldilocks would say.

Quiet, affordable and in a perfect location to enjoy Pt Defiance and the surrounding area. Host is both accommodating and friendly without being intrusive.

Excellent property. Amazing host!

We were in Tacoma for 2 weeks scouting a possible move. I can't say enough about our host, so attentive and responsive without being overbearing. Greeted us with wine, the most amazing cookies and ice cream and Randy's10* treatment of his guests made our trip delightful. Property is central to all the parks, restaurants, etc. and couldn't have served our needs better. Really don't know how a host could top or even match the care given my family by Randy.

Perfect home base for our visit to the Tacoma area

Randy was a wonderful host. The place was well stocked with plenty of coffee, several bottles of wine and the richest chocolate chip cookies I have ever had. The apartment was in an ideal location, close to the waterfront with many restaurants to choose from and easy freeway access. I would highly recommend booking your stay with Randy.

Amazing host & home

This one bedroom home is not only cute but has all the amenities that one needs, thanks to our host, Randy. He is an excellent host that pays attention to every little detail to make our stay comfortable & enjoyable. If you’re traveling this way, look Randy up. You will definitely not be disappointed.
