Enjoy this newly built luxurious Caribbean style villa located on the west coast of Antigua at the prestigious Sugar Ridge. Villa Sunset sits atop a private lush hillside bordered with natural sugar cane overlooking palm lined white sand beaches, turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea and the headlands to Five Islands Bay. With its elevated location, feel the cool trade winds flow through the Villa as you enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views that stretch across Jolly Harbour and to the islands beyond: Montserrat, Nevis, St. Kitts, and Redonda sit on the horizon like jewels in the glistening sea. To the east lie the unspoiled forested hills and valleys of Antigua’s striking coastal highlands. There is minor construction in Sugar Ridge so you may save!!

Enjoy a cup of coffee by the sparkling infinity pool and take in the glorious views of the island below waking up and coming to life with each bright new day. The stone-finished pool is the centerpiece of Villa Sunset, which is surround by natural tones contrasted with rich dark woods, contemporary styles and Caribbean flair. The Villa boasts three equally spacious private suites that have been decorated magnificently, each with spectacular views of the ocean. Each bedroom has their very own luxurious limestone bathroom double vanity bathroom with spa-like full body showers.

The gorgeous airy and open living area is equipped with state of the art technology and amenities. The designer kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and a breakfast bar. The indoor living area leads out to the verandas, which offers comfortable shaded seating to take in the fabulous views or catch some Caribbean rays in any of the four sun loungers lining the refreshing infinity pool. Either way, you will be in the perfect location to seize the famous Antiguan sunset at dusk!

A Vacationer’s Dream:From beginning to end, Villa Sunset was everything you could imagine. The views were amazing. The rooms were exceptional. The support from the management was top tier. From check in to booking the excursions, everything was done exceptionally well and with the highest level of professionalism. They were easy to contact and made sure that we received everything we needed. The house was very clean and met all of our expectations. What you see is what you get. Nisa our who looked after the property could not have been more helpful, booked taxis and trips for us and everything else . Daphne who did the cleaning just delightful. Property itself is just stunning, everything you could need was there. You can just sit and look at the view all day . Blew us away best holiday we have ever had and difficult to know how to top it .

The house is lovely and as described. It is very well equipped and the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are all excellent. The infinity pool is delightful with fantastic views over Jolly Harbour and beyond, and the outdoor spaces provide a good mix of sun and shade. And Nisa was an excellent host.However, what you can't see on the exterior photos is that the wooded area immediately behind the house is currently a large building site, with what looks like a 3 storey apartment block being built. A team of construction workers are currently working from 8 to 4, every day except Saturday afternoon and Sunday, with the accompanying drilling, hammering and machinery noise that are inevitable on such a job. This did spoil our trip in July, as we were looking forward to peace and quiet to enjoy the house and that was not available... Although the owner had not advised us of the work next door before we travelled, he did understand our point of view and gave us a partial refund after check out.As I said at the start of my review, the house is fabulous and well worth visiting, but if you are looking for peace and quiet, it may be better travelling after November, when the works are due to be completed.

TY for the 4 star review, after 14 years, over 2000 guests and 145 5 star reviews we, I guess, had to get a 4 star. Well everyone looks at things differently. Here is the review (5 star) from the next guests that were at Sunset: A Vacationer’s Dream from beginning to end, Villa Sunset was everything you could imagine. The views were amazing. The rooms were exceptional. The support from the management was top tier. From check in, to booking the excursions, everything was done exceptionally well and with the highest level of professionalism. They were easy to contact and made sure that we received everything we needed. The house was very clean and met all of our expectations. What you see is what you get. The personal chef is the way to go. It allows more time to enjoy this beautiful home. If I could give this property and the management 10 stars I would!

Wonderful stay

Had a great stay at Villa Sunset. The property and views are incredible. Great communication with Marc and the property management. We had an unexpected weather event on our end that delayed our arrival and they were very accommodating. Much appreciated! We would definitely stay again

Amazing Villa

Sunset Villa was amazing, the views, the amenities, and most importantly the location. Shopping and restaurants within a mile not to mention some of the most beautiful beaches within a five minute drive. As mentioned in other reviews, it is way more beautiful in person, The pictures do not reflect the beautiful views you will experience in person.

A Perfect Vacation

Villa Sunset lived up to all our expectations, and then some! The villa itself is beautifully appointed and all ameneties, fixtures and fittings are a very high standard. And the there is THAT view, which when you sit on the veranda with a cold drink and enjoy the sunset then that is when you realise just how spectacularly placed you are!

Fun with friends

The rental was beautiful and view was gorgeous! Beds were very comfortable. We had coffee and breakfast on the deck every morning before heading to the beach and came back to watch the sunset and then dinner outside. The only downfall was the construction next door - hopefully it doesn’t last too long

Took my breath away!!!

This is by far the best vacation villa I have ever stayed at. The views were absolutely amazing. Every morning woke up to a beautiful sunrise and every night watched a beautiful sunset. The villa was furnished beautifully. Amazing outdoor space. Very spacious inside. Will definitely book this villa again! Thank you so much for letting our family stay at your breath taking villa!

A little slice of Heaven

Sunset Villa is definitely the best VRBO our family has ever stayed! Everything was was 5 star-- from the home's furnishings to the outstanding view we looked out upon every morning while drinking our coffee to the mesmerizing sunsets every evening. The communication with the owner was excellent and his villa management team was responsive to our asks/needs while we were there the entire 2 weeks. Can't say enough about Sunset Villa- hope to return again in the future!!

Have you ever awoken to a double rainbow right outside your window? We did!

This property is spectacular in every way. The pictures of the house and the views are spot on but pale as to the true beauty of the home and surrounding area. The house is luxurious and provides an inviting and comfortable setting for a perfect vacation. The house is well located.. minutes from Jolly Harbour and surrounding (incredible) beaches, resturants. All interaction with owners and property staff was prompt, thorough and courteous.

Luxury vacation in Paradise!!

Absolutely amazing stay at the Garvey Family’s Sunset Villa! Super simple check in/check out process, great recommendations on things to do/local eats, and provided a great rental car service! Each room is essentially its own HUGE private master suite with 5 star accommodations!! The views from the deck pool area are phenomenal from sun up to sun down! The kitchen is equipped with anything and everything to cool a 5 course meal especially since the epicurean grocery store is at the bottom of the hill! You will not be disappointed with choosing sunset villa for your stay in Antigua!!

Perfect Family Vacation Get-Away

Jolly Harbor is a great place to stay in Antigua, and Villa Sunset is an ideal vacation home. The views were beautiful, and the Villa is well-designed with three private rooms, perfect for a family with adult-age children. The outdoor patios were great for relaxing, and the infinity pool was a crowd favorite. The host and the management staff were very friendly and responsive. The only suggestion we have for visitors is that you may want to forego the rental car and hire taxis during your stay. They are quite reasonable, and it's a lot more fun to let the locals navigate the roads while you enjoy the scenery!

Amazing memories:)

We stayed at “ Villa Sunset” end of March 2019 for a week and couldn’t be happier with our choice! This stunning villa is perfectly built to have a million dollar view of the sunset , Jolly Harbour and marina and of course the beautiful tortoise water! This stunning villa with its tranquil negative edge pool is fully stocked with anything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff managing the villa were available for initial orientation and any questions we had after. We loved our stay and will go back in the future!

A week in paradise

Villa sunset is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The house is set up with every necessary amenity and the view from the pool area is genuinely rather spectacular at all times of day. We loved the fact that all bedrooms and en suites are just as spacious as each other so no guest feels like they’re loosing out. Marc was an amazing contact to have, he helped with everything we asked / raised professionally and quickly. Thank you for everything!

We have been Caribbean lovers since we first took our children there in the early ‘80’s instead of Disneyland. Neither of our children or we have never made it to Disneyland, but we’ve visited just about every island in the beautiful Caribbean. We have been looking the last few years and had narrowed it down to Antigua and one other island. Antigua won hands down! It was the fabulous beaches, the overly friendly Antiguans, the spectacular views, the security of one of the lowest crime rates, the value of the restaurants and handmade purchases, the cleanliness of the island and homely feel of the little towns and villages, the golf courses and the endless activities available…you know where we’re going, we found paradise! A ton of research ensued and endless search for the dream villa ended in Sugar Ridge. Our second trip with in six months we had knew we found home at Villa Sunset and you will too. Certainly the best and most spectacular views of any villa we inspected!

One of the best points of it all is location, location, and location. Jolly Harbor has it all and it’s at the bottom of the hill. We have stayed in different areas of the island and by far Jolly Harbor takes the cake. Beaches, restaurants, endless water sports, grocery and liquor stores, banks, rental cars, cafes, and nightlife are only a minute away.

Sugar Ridge is a luxury boutique hotel which you may use, but most guests do not. You wouldn’t know its down the hill from Sunset, 5-minute walk or 2-minute drive away make for convenience and ease during your vacation. Security 24 hours, paved roads and the elegance of it all, especially our Antiguan friends, makes you feel like you’re someone special.
