Sugar Ridge is a private gated community nestled into a hillside where sugar cane was once grown.
Cotton House is situated on a corner lot midway up the hill. The one with the blue roof! It is a "green" house with (17) solar panels and 12,000 gallon cistern to collect rainwater which is sanitized for the house. The pool pump is solar.
It has two en suite bedrooms in the main house and a third en suite bedroom in the detached cottage at the rear of the property.
There are three window "walls" comprised of floor to ceiling sliding glass doors which recess into pocket frames in the living/dining great room. This creates a refreshing cool breeze that flows through the house all day long.
The large verandah pleases sun & shade lovers equally and is lovely for every meal of the day. You will have the hard job every day to pick which of the two lounging areas you are in the mood for.
The infinity edge pool is accompanied by a smaller lounging pool perfect for happy hour.
The courtyard is a nice, cool spot to relax in the late afternoon.
There is plenty of space to park a rental car beyond the remote controlled entrance gate.

Great spot, has everything necessary for a nice stay. Easy to cook, plenty of space to move around, and beach supplies (bags and towels) were provided on top of bathroom towels.

Communication from booking to checkout was much appreciated! Jenn and her team made us feel welcome, the house was clean and comfortable, and we wish we had spent more time there. If you are looking for great views, hosts and communication, the Cotton House is an easy choice.

The property is in superb condition. The host is sincerely concerned that guests enjoy every aspect of their stay. Communication is excellent, with clear instructions about the house and appliances, and the host offers great restaurant and recreational recommendations to enhance a stay in Antigua.

The house is perfect for three couples. The view is amazing. Kitchen and really the whole property is fully equipped with all you need. We had a rental car which is an absolute necessity. The location is close to some very nice beaches, restaurants, marina and a grocery store. We were there in early January so the pools were too cool to use.

Amazing Views!

The sweeping ocean views from this stay are absolutely mesmerizing—sunrises, sunsets, and sea breezes included. The Host was attentive to our needs, very quick to respond. We loved it and did not want to leave! Breathtaking property!

Beautiful place, amazing view, plenty of room for 3 couples, Jen is an amazing host, and Marissa the property manger is amazing as well. There are some stray kitties that I loved and took care of and wish I could’ve taken home with me. I hope who stays there next will take care of the babies as well! Pool was great, hot tub was amazing, we met the pool guy he was even amazing. There’s a washer and dryer, acs in the bedrooms, lots of privacy. Beautiful place, amazing management, highly recommended.

The cotton house is very nice. We were a group of 6 (3 couples) each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom which was perfect. The additional bathroom was great for when we were all hanging at the pool. The view is absolutely amazing! Although there is quite a bit of construction going on around the home, it was not horrible and in no way did it deter from us enjoying our time. Jenn was extremely responsive quickly answering all questions beforehand and we had quite a few During our stay both she and Marisa made certain we had everything we needed. Even making sure we were able to watch the Super Bowl in the home which was a very big deal for us. Thank you Kumar for making this happen! I highly recommend this home if you are looking to stay in Antigua.

Beautiful property!

Absolutely beautiful home and location! The view from the pool and balcony is stunning. Very close to a grocery store and quite a few restaurants. When visiting Antigua, we would absolutely stay at this property again!

Best House We've Ever Rented!

The pictures don't do it justice... The view was incredible, furnishings modern, beds extremely comfortable, outdoor space mesmerizing. If we come back to Antigua, we are definitely staying in this house again!

Perfect layout , the view is fantastic , we could not have been happier . Everything you expect and more from this island vacation house. Perfect bedrooms - ideal living area and kitchen - make for a relaxing stay .

Wonderful Caribbean getaway!

Our family stayed for 5 nights and had the best time reconnecting with each other. The property provided all we needed to feel comfortable away from home. Ample amount of space and wonderful amenities. 10/10

Beautiful villa overlooking Jolly Harbour

Just returned from a wonderful trip to Antigua and stayed at the Cotton House in Jolly Harbour for 1 week. Jenn was very responsive to all of my questions before and during our trip. The villa had an amazing view and was extremely comfortable for our family of 4.

Lovely stay

The villa is gorgeous, very tastefully decorated and well-appointed. The location is ideal for Jolly Harbour/beach and many local amenities. I am from Pennsylvania and I love to travel! Owning our own businesses had afforded us the freedom to explore the world with our two children when they were younger. We are very grateful for this. Throughout our travels we kept returning to the sea, whether on a boat or on a coastline. We knew living near the ocean was inevitable and in 2015 it finally happened.

On our initial visit to the island of Antigua we stayed at the Sugar Ridge resort. During our stay I noticed building activity up above the resort and inquired what was going on. The response was a new housing development. That peaked our interest and we asked for a tour of one of the houses. I'll never forget the awe I felt once we entered the home, turned the corner and saw the most incredible view of the ocean (any ocean). We were speechless after a big Wow! And so our big decision to have the same thing for ourselves & you the renter started with that view.
The next year we rented that same house to experience "life" on Antigua & loved every minute of it. During our stay we met with the developer & sealed the deal a few months later. It is truly a dream come true and I hope you feel a little dreamy staying at Cotton House too!

I am amazed by the sense of total relaxation that just seems to happen the moment you walk in the front door, open the sliders & stroll out onto the verandah. Normal hectic life back home just fades away. You sleep better, eat better, laugh more. You realize no stress is a good goal to have. I hope my home has the same effect on you. I don't want you to worry about anything. The lovely staff at Antigua and Barbuda Sothebys International Realty will take care of anything you need during your stay as they do for me when I am here.
