Excellent location, beautiful ocean view and the property manager was great! They contacted us immediately to make sure everything was up to standard and followed up with us throughout our stay. We will be back!

Incredible location! We checked out several others in the area including in the same development that were less expensive. Here's where this property beats the competition: The second floor is perfect - awesome view of the ocean, you can leave the sliding glass doors and windows open and hear the waves all day and night. Right by pool and parking. Literally walk out the door and down one flight of stairs and you're at the pool. Walk another 200' and you're at the stairs down to the beach. Walk the other way 50' and you're at your car. And, this place has an air conditioner in the living room. Most places in the area do not. Some people may not care about that, but for us, most days it got used and we were very glad that we had it. We're planning to be back in Solana Beach again next year, and even though this place is a bit more expensive, we're planning to book it again.

You are absolutely paying for location and view at this property and it is WORTH IT. The condo hasn't seen much updating in what seems like quite some time, but once you look at the windows and patio doors you forget about all of that. Even better than that, you are literally a five minute walk to the ocean and a gorgeous beach. We stayed for just over two weeks and loved this location and the gazillion restaurants and shops. We met several neighbors in the complex who were all absolutely delightful. If you are sensitive to the heat, be warned that while there is a mini split AC in the family room, it does not reach the bedrooms. And because the bedrooms look out into other parts of the building/parking garage, it's almost impossible to get a breeze going. Miserable during the day, but in the evenings it cools off quite a bit. Also, the management company was incredibly responsive. If I could tell the owner anything it would be to invest a few thousand into ripping out the carpet and replacing with LVT, doing a deep clean and replace things like broken trashcans and a broken garbage disposal and take off the wall to wall mirrors. We were also disappointed to learn the day we checked in that scaffolding and construction happening outside our unit that stayed up the full time. Owner did issue a 10% discount, but it would have been appropriate to let us know ahead of time and do something closer to 20%. All that said, we will be back!

We apologize for the dated finishes, the issues you noted (carpet, trashcans, garbage disposal, wall-to-wall mirrors), and the limited cooling in the bedrooms. We will share your suggestions—including replacing carpet with LVT, a deep clean, and addressing the broken items—with the owner and our maintenance team so they can prioritize improvements. We're also sorry about the scaffolding and that you weren't notified in advance. We appreciate that the owner issued a 10% discount and will pass along your feedback that additional compensation and better pre-arrival notice would have been appropriate.
