Waterfront Bay House with Elevator, 350' Lighted Fishing Pier with Boat Lift.

Clean, Bright and Updated, this 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Home will make your family's vacation dreams a reality. The home will accommodate 6 adults with a Queen bed in each of the two bedrooms plus a Queen sleeper sofa in the Day Room. The rental area is located on the 3rd. floor with a fantastic view of Galveston/ Dickinson Bay. Enjoy your coffee as you watch the sun rise from the large deck on the second or third floor overlooking the waterfront. The second floor is private and no one occupies it during your rental. You are welcome to use the second floor deck for relaxing while you enjoy the cool breeze. The property features a 350 foot Lighted Pier with a fish cleaning table and running water, electricity, overhead lights at the end of the pier located on a large t-head, as well as lights that shine out into the water. There are several boat launches in the immediate area. There is a boat lift available for up to a 20 foot boat to raise it out of the water when you are not out fishing. The Home has central air and heat and the kitchen is fully furnished with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. There is a 55 inch Flat Screen TV in the living area with two smaller tvs in each of the bedrooms. Washer and dryer available in the guest bathroom for your convenience. There is also a gas grill available on the 2nd. floor deck overlooking the waterfront. The Home is located in San Leon, Tx which is on Galveston/Dickenson Bay. It is just 10 minutes away from the Kemah Boardwalk and 20 minutes from Galveston. Nasa is also a short 20 minute drive. Wi-Fi is available. There are several restaurants' nearby, Top Water Grill and Pier 6 both have excellent food and are located 10 minutes from the house.

We did enjoy our stay in this property. Everything was as anticipated other than the elevator, which did give us some challenges, The gal across the street was just terrific. She was available to help with questions and we really did appreciate the Owner and someone that worked with him coming by to look at a couple things that needed their attention. Overall, it was a great stay and I highly recommend the property.

Great place and location away from the big crowds of Galveston. The pier was fun however it could use some handrails for us seniors lol. Overall it was a great time and the owners were very helpful. Will be back.

Had a wonderful stay. The owner was super quick to respond when we needed help with lights. Really good fishing. The elevator was a gift for my husband on crutches. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at this location. Everything was super clean and comfortable. Fishing at the dock was fun and the dock was one of the best with a nice place to clean your fish. It rained a lot and we did not catch much, but we had fun trying. I would stay at this home again. Any questions we had were addressed quickly. The lift was so helpful especially if you have knee problems. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed if you liked to cook. This is a super place to stay and we look forward to more visits in the future.

Awesome property we really enjoyed the view and the fishing! We really appreciate the elevator it was a huge plus since I had my 86 yr old mom with me. Beautiful place we will definitely be staying here again!

There were a few small issues but KEN ( the host ) was wonderful. He addressed them right away which made our weekend stay even better. We were there for a fishing charter but it was canceled due to the weather. Being able to fish from the private pier at this house made things complete. Everyone in the family were extremely happy and want to stay here again.

Rented this property for the 350 ft pier. First few days were rough, rain, cold, cloudy and windy. But, we still caught fish! Our last full day there was absolutely the best fishing day!!! Caught a trophy red fish, catch and release… caught another fish that just took off and the line was singing, but I was spooled by whatever took my bait. Caught another trophy red fish that was bigger than the first! Best fishing day ever!! My first time to get “spooled” but, I would love to stay here again sometime in the future! If you’re interested in staying here to fish, just do it, you won’t regret it…oh, and the dolphins came by several times…

Family Vacation

We had a great time at the property and took full advantage of it to relax and fish. We loved the dock and late night fishing as a family. Great place to stay!

Outstanding Experience and Property

Great fishing, clean property, close to grocery stores and shopping, and the elevator made mobility limited guest experience a non issue. We will be coming back we were so pleased with this experience and location!

This bay house has been a treasure of the family for three generations. It has weathered several big storms and hurricanes and has been rebuilt and re-modeled more than once. Many joyful family and friend gatherings have occurred here. Use of this property is restricted to only those individuals renting the property, at a maximum of 6 occupants, and not to be used for large events. Additional visitors are prohibited. Violators will be asked to leave and there will be no refund of any money for the time remaining on the reservation.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Since the last major hurricane the house has been elevated to the new flood elevation. The new height created a even more fantastic view of the waterfront. While sitting on the deck for your morning coffee you can watch the sunrise over the water and see the coastline all the way to Galveston island. Great views for picture taking.
