Inviting condo at the edge of the desirable De Anza Villas condominium complex. Offering a spacious, well-appointed interior with all the comforts of home, and two separate and spacious master suites. Each with its own ensuite bathroom. Living room, dining room, and both bedroom suites offer direct patio access, where you can enjoy the tranquil outdoors with sweeping mountain views during the day, and a breathtaking star filled sky at night. Location offers direct access to hiking trails at the foot of Indian Head mountain. All the while, being only a few minutes from world class golf, and all the charm and character Borrego Springs has to offer. Nearby attractions include the Anza Borrego Desert State Park visitor center, the Palms at Indian Head, and the Borrego Art institute. Plus, endless opportunities for outdoor adventure and hiking in California’s largest state park.

Inside you’ll find a stylish and sophisticated mid century inspired interior with all the comforts of a contemporary home. The home includes 2 king beds, microwave, vintage range, toaster, refridgerator, dishwasher, dishes, flatware, pots and pans, coffee bean grinder. The well-appointed kitchen is off of a patio, which offers lounge chairs and a table with umbrella.

The community has a tennis court, two pickleball courts, and two pools. In addition, it’s common to see bighorn sheep in your yard in season. Please do not bother them.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay here. What a perfect setup for two people with two bedrooms and two large bathrooms. Plus the kitchen and living area were perfect for relaxing and looking out at the beautiful grounds. Everything was just perfect and we plan to stay there again soon. "A gem in the desert" for sure.

This is a wonderful, spacious, and well equipped home. Only about 3 miles from Palm Canyon, it’s in a great location. The hosts were great, sensitive to our needs and quick to respond to questions. I would definitely come back.

Highly recommend!!! The space is beautiful, comfortable, private, and well stocked with nice amenities. The hosts were wonderful and thoughtful. We also loved a dip in the pool after a long day’s hike. We can’t thank Ryan and Chris enough for making our stay really special.

The condo was exceptional! The property backs up against the desert, is quiet, and very private. The owners bent over backwards to make sure we were able to get into the property and have everything we could possibly ever need. The value far exceeded the price. I’d stay here again and recommend this place to everyone.

We love going out to eat and enjoy discovering culinary delights when we travel. We play tennis, hike, love touring historic sites and mid century modern homes, cook, spoil our cats and always have some home project going on.

Being a host is new to us, but when we bought our home at De Anza Villas, and had such a good time decorating it and enjoying Borrego, we felt we couldn’t keep it to ourselves. We love when guests have a unique experience and come away expressing the same joy of having been in the condo as we do when we stay there ourselves.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

When we started visiting Borrego we sought out mid century architecture, as we always do. We ended up driving through De Anza and having a realtor show us some open houses near the clubhouse. De Anza Country Club just spoke to us. It does not need stating that the place is quiet (that’s Borrego!), but there is a unique charm to feeling comforted amongst the trees and greens of the golf course, the quiet streets with unique homes, the proximity of being at the foot of the beautiful mountain, and having those expanses around us where you can look, seemingly forever, out into the desert.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The complex is at the far end of the road at the far end of town. That, it and of itself, makes it cozy and private. The foot of the mountain and some hiking trails are only several hundred feet away. Our particular location in the complex is very quiet and has a common area backyard that is quite removed and surrounded by oleanders which, for all intents and purposes, makes it like our own private area. OH! And, in the spring and through the end of summer, you will have bunnies in your yard, but also bighorn sheep. We are never not blown away by these beautiful creatures (please do not approach them or feed them).
