Cottage by the Creek is a 600 sq ft converted grain barn built in the early 1900's. We've converted the space into a light and bright one bedroom, with a loft. There is a fully functional kitchen and custom bath with tile shower. The 30 ft front porch offers views of the cattle farm across the street and the year round flowing creek. Or enjoy the back patio with hot tub in and fire pit.

Comfortable, cozy, very clean. So quiet and peaceful. Very easy to communicate with the host. Recommend for a quiet, country get away.

Amazing stay from start to finish! The cabin was beautifully renovated/decorated. Had everything we needed and definitely a plus that it was pet-friendly.
The loft was great extra space!

Nice , Quiet cottage very relaxing Loved everything about this property Host was excellent to communicate with and very nice attitude! Loved the country atmosphere chickens and cows very people friendly momma cow likes being petted her calf was so precious ..Our fur baby enjoyed his morning and evening walks along the creek it’s beautiful..Worth every minute

Hosts were very responsive! The cabin was so cute, very well done. Very clean, had everything my family needed. It was welcoming and the location was the quiet we were looking for! Will definitely be back!!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. There was a mixed communication apparently with the host and the listing. There is a home right next-door to this property and there is someone feeding the cows on the same property right directly behind the house at check-in time. We were told it was a private home sitting on a farm with a creek. The creek is actually across the street from the property. So if you’re looking for something that is very private, this really would not be a good choice. And the bed downstairs is not very comfortable. There is no phone service whatsoever from the interstate to the cabin. Unless you write the code down to the door before you get there, there is no way to get into the home or have any communication until you go back to where you can find phone service. Other than that, the home was very nice and it was clean. It had pretty much everything you need for this day and it’s very unique. We did enjoy the rooster that came and visit us each morning. We also enjoyed the cows close to the house. Where there is cows there are lots of flies, so be aware of flies constantly coming into the house.The hot tub on the back deck was definitely a nice bonus to calm down for the evening.We did However, enjoy our stay.

The cabin was wonderful and relaxing after busy days! The farm setting and beautiful creek made for a perfect end to each day. The cabin had the necessary amenities and all the rustic charm you could ever want. Its a great retreat and we hope to be able to visit the area and the cabin again in the future.Thanks, Chris and Jessica
