Drive 5 minutes North to the beautiful white sand beaches of Napili Bay or Kapalua. Fifteen minutes North is a protected preserve in Honolua Bay with outstanding snorkeling and beautiful coral formations.

Or head South five minutes to Airport Beach and Kannapali Beaches. Shop and dine at Whaler's Village.

Or just enjoy the day in your condo at Kaleialoha. Your air conditioned condo is on the ground floor, with direct unobstructed ocean views including the Islands of Lanai and Molakai. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets from your spacious Lanai. Cool off in the heated pool. Watch Sea Turtles grazing on the shallow reefs just past the sea wall. See Humpback Whales breaching in the distance during whale season. Occasionally Spinner Dolphins or Spotted Eagle Rays swim by. Barbecue out front or cook in your own kitchen. Amazing stay

Beautiful condo, close to the ocean. You can watch a sunset every night there. The area was calm and lovely too with lots of palm trees. John was quick to reply and help out with any questions I had. Could not have had a better stay.

Great home in a great location!

John was great to work with and his home is wonderful. Stayed here with our 9 year old son and it was great. Loved the ground floor access and the size was perfect for our family. Amenities were more than sufficient (TONS of snorkeling gear). Kitchen has everything you need and there were plenty of nice tidbits left (oil, spices, etc). Sitting on the patio watching whales was a daily occurrence. Loved it!

Quiet and enjoyed the sounds of the ocean!

The stay was amazing and in a quiet location. You walk right out to the ocean and can sit and enjoy coffee while listening to the waves or enjoy dinner watching the sunset. We saw 3 turtles while snorkeling right here too! Wonderful stay!

Little piece of paradise

The view! The view! 30 feet from the ocean. Nothing more relaxing than listening to the ocean waves, watching them roll in and the beautiful sunshine. This place is lovely- well appointed with amenities of home. It was home away from home - except better weather! Location is close to shops, stores and sightseeing with beaches close by. The host was responsive and kind. We loved it here. Spent 9 days and wish we could have stayed longer

A relaxing way to enjoy Maui

This is in a very nice location (a few blocks outside of the congested tourist resort area). It was quiet, yet only minutes from the best beaches on Maui. The patio and lawn next to the ocean were the best part. We enjoyed our mornings and evenings outside on the patio or lawn. We snorkeled only feet away for a few minutes each day right at the location and were always surrounded by turtles.

Great Location and Condo

Great location to see an abundant amount of wildlife in the ocean behind the condo. Check-in/check-out was super easy. Location of condo was close to popular nearby restaurants, food trucks, and downtown area of Lahaina. If we get to return to Maui, I will be doing my best to book this same location!

Awesome view but cleanliness is concerning

The apartment has awesome view, convenient locations, everything was as described in the online listing. Upon arrival we found brown stains on the toilet and the hair dryer, John responded really fast and sent someone to clean it. Some kitchen utensils also don’t look clean. Overall ok with the price.

Oceanfront location/view is wonderful

We enjoyed having breakfast out on the lanai and later watching the sunset. The host John was very responsive in arranging for the coffee maker to be replaced when we discovered the carafe was broken upon arrival.

Maui vacation

Loved the location, unit was exactly as described. Owner very responsive and helpful. Saw lots of turtles and whales. Would gladly stay in this unit again! Only negative was really only one wine glass!

Amazing view, close to everything.

We had a great stay. Whale viewing from the back door. Very nice neighbors that love in the other units. Short walk to essentials. Nice reserved parking spot. Excellent and quick communication with owner. We had a wonderful stay.

Simply breathtaking

One of the nicest locations and areas we have seen. Close to a secluded beach area and can walk out to private lawn chairs for sunbathing. Quiet and relaxing! Islands can be seen from your living area- a vision that can not be seen everywhere! Close to hiking, restaurants and beaches- everything you need for an amazing stay.

Peaceful, beautiful location

Wonderful condo location right on the water. You can walk out to it and enjoy the view. There is swimming access, but no real beach. Peacful buidling that doesnt feel crowded at all. There's a heated pool as well. The kitchen has all the ammenities of home and there are two big TVs, AC, fans, a couch, etc. Some beach gear is availbale to borrow abd the condo complex has paid laundry facoloties to use. Simply amazing.

Turtles All The Time!

The turtles love this place! The condo was fantastic, everything we needed and plenty of room for my daughter and me. I loved sitting on the patio with my coffee in the morning and a cocktail at sunset. Saw whale spouts, eels, jumping fish and turtles. Very active with marine life. I loved it all. Thank you and highly recommend.

Great ocean front condo.

Highly recommend. So great to walk right out to the ocean. Great view of sunset. Not really a beach but there are steps down to the ocean to go snorkeling right there at your condo. Turtles frequent the reef/rocks right there at the condo. Very cool.

Whale watching

If a pool is important this isn’t the spot, a small pool in the parking lot. It was ok for us though. Really enjoyed watching the whales from the patio, we even got some fun photos. A strong 3 star property.

Wonderful view and location!

We enjoy staying in Honokawai, and staying at John’s condo this year added to that enjoyment. The oceanfront location is fantastic, and it doesn’t get much better than having our morning coffee while watching whales swimming and breeching right in front of us. We also loved the location of the condo - walking distance to Honokawai Beach Park, Maui Fish (for amazing poke and fresh fish), Okazuya deli, a small farmer’s market, Times Market and even an ABC store. The kitchen is very functional and the condo was supplied with the basics and more - paper goods, ziploc bags, salt, pepper, spices and cleaning products. Thanks, John, for a very pleasant time in Honokawai!

get away

ok some of the furniture was old & outdated. bedroom had garbage under bed from previous stay? not sure how long it has been there. Only 1 wine glass so bought 4 new ones to leave at the property. They were 7.00 at ross not a bad price . No beach acess but beaches were close by. Bedroom tv inop. Not a big deal but still it did not work no cable connection.

Spacious & Clean, Extras

Our Unit was more spacious than we thought based on the photos. I was traveling with my adult son, so having the space was great. It is in an area with grocery, food truck, small park and restaurants within walking.And yes, turtles right there every afternoon! Big bonus: the lawn chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, cooler, super up-to-date guide book. The best sunsets right on our front lanai. No bugs, pleasant neighbors and added bonus - the designated parking spot was always in the shade! Only thought: There is not a beach that you can really walk to. It was great to explore all the beaches by car, but having one right there to eliminate parking hassles and for convenience would have been nice. This would be very important with children IMO.

Pool had no water! Lawn was a sea of MUD! Cable box on TV inoperable! Parking spots are so narrow that you cannot open the doors after parking. No A/C in bedroom!
