We had a great stay. The property was so lovely and the view of the backyard and lake was spectacular. Our hosts were always available when we had questions. It was a relaxing trip.. felt like home away from Home!!!

Perfect weekend getaway

We had so much fun fishing from the pedal boat, paddleboarding, swinging, and bird and deer watching. We stayed 3 nights and wanted to stay longer!!!

Texas retreat

We stayed at this location for a music festival a town over. The house was perfect! The hist was very responsive and we had no issues at all. Would stay here again and again. The views from the backyard...unbeatable!!!

We had an amazing week at this beautiful and very well kept property! The kids swam and fished every day we were there. The house was very clean inside and very well maintained outside. We also had amazing communication with the owners who were extremely helpful ever since the day of booking this property. If we are ever in the Brushy Creek area again, we will definitely be staying here again! LOVED this property so much and sad our trip had to end!!

A gem in Austin

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic. The creek in the back was peaceful and teaming with fish and birds. The paddle boat made for a fun way to take it all in.

My wife and I stayed a week at this property. This is definitely one of our favorite houses we have rented. Very clean. Check-in was a breeze. Very quiet and peaceful. Deer everywhere. The Egyptian geese put on a show every morning. The chickens were always fun to visit, and we had two fresh egg breakfasts during our stay. We took the pedal boat for a trip, but left the stand up paddleboards and kayaks for others. Our swimming in the river days are behind us. I fished several days but caught nothing. One of the few negatives of this trip. There are some small perch if you've got young ones. I would also hesitate to recommend this place if you have toddlers. Lots of knickknacks in reach. We loved this place and were sad when our week was up. This is the kind of place I would like to retire to. Hopefully, when we return, the weather will be a little more hospitable. The fact that we could sit outside as much as we did during the 100 degree weather was a credit to all those oak trees. Gary and Mary live next door but we had no interaction with them during our stay. We asked for, and received, an early check-in that was very much appreciated. My one email was answered in minutes. I have no doubt any issue would have been taken care of immediately. Thanks Gary and Mary. We will return, but maybe in spring or fall next time.

Golf home base

Great property on the water. Nice back yard patios with grill and fire pit. The hosts were very responsive to questions about the property and other things.

All you ever need

The property is very clean and has all you will need. Lots of toys to play with, as well as spaces to get away and relax. It is all right there for you, right down to the welcoming coffee bar.

Family Gathering

Loved everything about this comfortable, family home. Check in was easy and having the owner nearby was a perk. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 7 of us. The view was pretty. The kids enjoyed the paddle boat and watching the beautiful birds by the water and the deer roaming the neighborhood. Perfect stay for us!

Two-Step Inn stay

House was awesome. Top 5 VRBO we have stayed in. It was perfect for the 3 couples. Quite neighborhood. Great location for all things in round rock. Georgetown. House was clean and as advertised!!!!! Would definitely stay her again.

Golden Girls Getaway

Our stay at the Brushy Bend VRBO could not have been better. The hosts have a very clean and welcoming house which is exactly as it is portrayed on the website. No surprises here. They made the check-in and check-out easy and were very accomodating and friendly. We had a great time and would definitely come back and stay there.

Immaculate and serene!

Our group of six high school girlfriends from the sixties meet here every year. It’s the perfect place for us. Lots of room to spread out, and the back yard is like a resort…paddle boat, fire pit, tree swing.Don’t miss this one!

Nice and Peaceful Stay

We stayed at this home for a business trip. Although it's close to everything, it feels very removed from the busyness of the city. Back yard was very nice with a great secluded view of the river. We kayaked and used the paddleboat. House was vwry clean and haf everything we needed. Zero negatives. Great stay. Thanks!

Perfect place!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house that backs up to a river. The river dam is right behind the house so you can hear the rush of a small waterfall in the backyard. Very peaceful. Nice kitchen for cooking family meals, which we did because we didn’t want to leave. Paddle boat and kayaks on site. The owner was beyond nice and readily available to deal with any questions.

Bird Watchers Book Now

This stunning home far exceeded our families expectations. My elderly parents bird watched from sun up, to sun down. Watched a hummingbird bills her nest above our heads. The amount of wildlife we were able to experience was magical. Our kids launched SUP’s and paddled through the TX heat. My husband and I cooked on the patio and enjoyed that we didn’t need to leave the home for entertainment. This home is a BIG BANG for the buck!
