Serenity at its finest.

Beautiful property with comfortable furnishings, a great bed and amazing pillows (always a plus). The surroundings are a little slice of heaven. House is well appointed with anything you can imagine in case you forget something. Can't wait to return.

Beautiful setting, very small house. There was no blanket for. convertible couch.

We have been so fortunate to have wonderful guests at this magical home and property. Sadly this was the first time a guest failed to read specifics within a listing description, such as the size of the home. As for not having additional blankets, had this guest let us know they were bringing a 3rd adult guest (booked for 2), we would have gladly shown them where to find the extra blankets and comforters.

Fantastic, beautiful, country stay--so close to Manhattan!

Just seeing that I never left a review for the Weston River House! This little place was absolutely beautiful. Warm, inviting, the sound of the bubbling river was absolutely delightful! The fireplace was the bomb. Can't say enough about how lovely the location is. Owner was very responsive and helpful as was his "helpers". Would love to stay there again.

Very private cottage by the Saugatuck River

An absolutely charming cottage on an estuary of the Saugatuck River where it is possible to go for a swim! Very beautiful and serene setting. Very private and very clean!

Quiet cottage getaway

This was a perfect secluded getaway! The house was immaculately clean and comfortable. The premises were well groomed and the flowing river added another dimension to its quaintness. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!

Peaceful, quaint and romantic

Perfect hide-away for a woodsy trip. Definitely plan on revisiting. The home is cozy yet very open. My favorite features were the indoor wood-burning stone fireplace, the outdoor fire pit and the river.

A true relaxing experience!

Stayed for a wonderful relaxing weekend. The house is very clean, designed in a way that the only thing remaining to do is relax. The sound of the river flowing, the location. perfect. Ricky the host was very helpful and available if needed. Most recommended!

Beautiful, Peaceful, and Immaculate!

We absolutely loved every minute at this beautiful home and property! The house is impeccably clean and very well-appointed. The kitchen is well-stocked, the living space is cozy, and the bed is SUPER comfortable. As named, the house directly faces a soothing river and we truly enjoyed soaking in the sounds and sights right outside the home. Ricky is a truly warm, eager to please, and gracious host who quickly responded to our questions. We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable stay!

It was an absolute pleasure to host Zev and his lovely wife. They took full advantage of everything the home and surrounding area have to offer. Bringing their own inflatable kayaks for the area rivers was a nice touch of outdoor adventure. They left the home clean. They are certainly welcome back anytime!

Cabin in the woods

Pros: Serene, peaceful atmosphere. Inside: charming, comfortable, well appointed, impeccably clean. TV in bedroom. Cons: TV in bedroom. Tiny bedroom. Outdoor furniture not up to insides standard of comfort and quality. Owner is lovely and very responsive.

It was an absolute pleasure hosting Jody and her husband Peter at The Weston River House, three different stays over the past month. They were such a lovely and kind couple. Jody and Peter are welcome back anytime and any host should welcome them too. Like Jody said, the bedroom is small but it happens to pack a mighty punch. It has all the important amenities such as; two large closets, seat bench under one of three windows, a small table to place items, a great Samsung Smart TV with cable, a cordless phone (free calls within the U.S.)...and best of all an amazingly comfortable luxurious king size bed (Westin Heavenly Bed). As for the outside, in keeping with the rustic chic design of the home - we have a teak table with 6 teak chairs (admittedly not the most comfortable), one adirondack chair and two large chairs with ottomans separated by a small glass table....all spread out sitting right along the river.
