Newly remodeled, contemporary, architect’s studio apartment (300 sq. ft.) in the heart of the Marais on rue Saint-Paul. Apartment has wood floors, tastefully simple furniture, and clean modern bathroom (with bathtub/shower), washer/dryer. Fully-equipped kitchen includes oven, microwave, and grill. Apartment is on first floor (up one flight of stairs or use elevator) with two large windows facing quiet courtyard. Double platform bed. Perfect for a single person or couple seeking an alternative to tiny, dingy, over-priced Parisian hotel rooms. 130 euros/night

Nice flat, good location

The flat is basically what you would expect from a studio in the Marais. Very quiet (although you can very clearly hear the neighbors when they are in the hall, which doesn't happen too much), in a nice residence. Well equipped, and a very good location. It is not huge, but comfortable. Good experience overall, good contact with the owner.

Can’t beat this location

Loved the easy Metro access and the walkability of this neighborhood. The flat is well-represented in photos. It’s a no-frills studio, accommodating two of us—but no more. Lana was a charming host and communicated promptly. We also recommend the corner restaurant Bouquet.

Great location

I enjoyed my stay. The owner is communicative and provided clear instructions for check in and check out. The flat was just as described. Marais is a great area with lots of restaurants and shops and close walking distance from sights and the metro. Thank you!

Better than Hotel.

Great stay.Very good area. The cafe in front good for food and drinks and very friendly people.Only down was getting wrong entry codes, which very helpful neighbours helped to rectify. I would return anytime.

The property was exactly as advertised; a small comfortable, I clean, wonderfully located safe and secure studio apartment. We loved our stay. It would have been perfect with access to one more closet for storage. It was pretty close to perfect. Communication with owner was excellent.

Great location!

Nice place in a great location. Easy to book, easy to get around. All the clothing closets were locked so couldn't put any clothes away - just to be aware. Most other cabinets were locked also. Enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful stay in a great location

Overall this was a wonderful VRBO experience. The location was great, with many cafes and bakeries and other sites to see and experience nearby. The property was very clean, quiet, and comfortable to stay in. Lana (the owner) was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire booking process, and leading up to our stay.

Superb location in the old Paris

This small flat is located between the Hotel de Ville and the Bastille, 2 minutes from Village St. Paul, in a walking distance from the Seine, Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou and many other attractions. The neighbors in the other flats were very friendly and helpful providing us information. So were the manager of the local bistro at the same building were you can have an inexpensive breakfast. The flat itself is pretty small (1 room) but well occupied. Unfortunately, all the closets were locked so there were no place to put our clothes and suitcase.

Sweet studio in the Marais

We really enjoyed our stay in Lana’s apartment. It’s small but extremely well located, only a few blocks from the metro, Seine, and Places des Voges, with easy access to restaurants and shops just around the corner. Given its location, we were surprised by how quiet the apartment is—you wouldn’t guess that you were in the heart of the city! Lana was a pleasure to work with, extremely helpful both before and during our stay. We’d definitely stay here again!

Wonderful apartment and location

We loved the apartment. Perfect spot for a couple on holiday. Location was amazing and loved that we could walk anywhere and get a great meal, cup of coffee or even go to market. And the metro was so close! The 4th Arr is a perfect location to see Paris.

Ideal location in our favourite part of Paris

We know the Marais district very well and we couldn't have asked for a better location than Lana's apartment. Although it is in the heart of food and shopping district, the apartment itself is very quiet. The apartment is small, but it has everything you'd need for a stay. Unfortunately for us the washing machine was not working, but Lana left directions for where the laundromats are and a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. It would have been good to have a bit more lighting in the room. Lana was very good to deal. She was responsive and any queries was answered very quickly even though she was not in town. Pleasant and easy

Everything was as in the pictures and description and we enjoyed our stay there. One pleasant surprise was how good the mattress was, which allowed us to sleep very well and be refreshed for the next day.

Great location. Comfortable flat.

Lena’s flat was in an ideal location for me. The bed was comfortable, and I took advantage of the washer/dryer as I had been traveling for a while. St. Paul street has a number of interesting antique shops which I enjoyed exploring. Close to the Metro and the Seine.

Quiet apartment in lively, interesting and convenient neighborhood. Comfy and everything works!

This flat has everything you need. Convenient to many walking destinations and 2 Metro stops. Easy shopping, good restaurants, and interesting sites nearby. The flat itself was a spacious studio with the amenities we needed and they all worked! I’d go back.

A nice week in Paris.

I can only repeat what other reviewers have said. I was one person staying in the apartment for the first 6 days in November. The apartment is in a wonderful area of Paris, full of restaurants, shopping, interesting places to visit. It's small, yet, a good value for the price and location. I did not meet the owner, but she was very responsive and hospitable by email and made sure I had good information. I'm not new to Paris so I did not need to avail myself of all the assistance she offered. I didn't cook or attempt to use the electronics so I can't comment much there. The wifi was good for my laptop and phone. The heat and water pressure were good. I would choose to stay there again on a return visit to Paris.

Ideal!!!!

The location and value was wonderful! We were about a three minute walk from the Metro and in a vibrant neighborhood . The studio itself was very quiet and secure. We were able to walk to the Louvre, the Shoah Memorial and Cathedral of Norte Dame. There is a great food market -Monoprix - in the same block as the studio ( it looks like a USA department store but there is a great grocery in the basement), a glorious pastry store a few steps from the studio and a great cafe restaurant ( you exit the apt complex , turn left and it is right bpnext door with an English speaking proprietor - Patrick - excellent food and open all day .we are looking forward to staying there on our next trip , it was a great deal for Paris!

Ideal!!

A great location and value for Paris! You are a three minute walk from the Metro. We walked to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens , the Memorail Shoah. There is a wonderful grocery store on the same block as the studio-Monoprix - it looks like a department store , has the grocery in the basement. Right out the door of the studio complex and to the left a few steps is a wonderful restaurant, open all day with the English speaking proprietor Patrick. The le Marais district is lively and wonderful but the studio was very quiet and secure. Nice to have the fully equipped kitchen and washer dryer.We will definitely stay there again and recommend it highly!

Does not live up to pictures on VRBO. Apartment was dark, absolutely NO storage

No storage for luggage and no cabinets or drawers for guest use. Not enough lighting. Very dark even during the day could not get out of bed unless you scooted to the bottom . Washing machine, elevator and location were pluses. Otherwise avoid
