Steps from the Beach and the Center of the Village

**We are sorry, but this cottage is only available for rentals of 26 days or more.**

Enjoy several wonderful weeks in beautiful Coronado while staying in the guest house of a lovely gated home six houses from the center of one of the best beaches in America. The main street of our charming town with lots of restaurants and shopping, is one block in the other direction.

This guest house has one bedroom, a living room and kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave oven, double burner portable hotplate and coffee maker. There is also a spacious walk-in closet and a bathroom with a shower over tub.

Often (while the home owners are away) you will have exclusive use of a charming shaded patio complete with a dining table and gas grill.

Parking in Coronado during the summer this close to the beach can be a challenge, but you will be able to keep your car safe behind the gate in the driveway.

We have beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards for your use.

Great location

The guest house is tucked away and is nicely and simply furnished. I appreciated the pleasant landscaping surrounding the structure.

Great Coronado Stay

My stay at the property was great. The host was very welcoming and the accommodations were wonderful. The close proximity to the ocean and the center of town made it an ideal location. Great experience.

Charming beach cottage

We could not be more pleased with our stay. The owner is lovely and so easy to communicate with. We enjoyed being steps away from the beach and hope to do it again.

Everything was wonderful! Location is the best . Safety, short distance to everything (beach, shops ,restaurants). Andy is amazing hostess! She respects tenants privacy and she was happy to help with anything we needed. Cottage is very cute .We had the best vacation month ever! Thank you 🙏 Andy

Small: Galley kitchen in living room, card table size dining table. Inadequate for additional guests. great location to beach walk and town. CLEAN. Comfortable bed. Adequate walk-in closet. Quiet except for an occasional military jet fly over. Private enclosed patio/barbeque area. Gated. Pleasant property owner.

We arrived on 6/1/23. The owner was in Hawaii until 6/20. The step son was there, he was useless. No provision for getting our mail until 6/20. The apartment was filthy, slugs, silverfish, black mold, torn sheets on bed. The patio furniture and grill were filthy. The dog next door barked loudly on and off sometimes through the night. No cable TV. cracked bathroom sink. Parking in the street not possible from 10 am to 6 pm. After complaining we were allowed to share the driveway. The AC was an old floor model not set up. No screens on doors apartment was hot. We tried to get out immediately but nothing was available. At the end my wife complained to the owner who offered to give us the July rent back only to receive an email later rescinding the offer. We have many pictures documenting the above. This is the worst experience we have ever had and we plan to seek restitution. John E, Tiffany

As a Premier VRBO host, I take our guest's satisfaction very seriously. Our five-star reviews and many returned guests attest to that. Mr. and Mrs. Tiffany were respectful of our property and left it in good condition, although they took the house key, gate remote and mailbox key with them and have not returned them. They were not happy staying here because of the crowds and lack of parking during the summer in Coronado. During several phone conversations before check-in, I told Mr. Tiffany that they could park in our driveway when street parking was unavailable, however, he didn't recall that and became very frustrated in trying to park. Mr. Tiffany was also disappointed that ocean swimming was prohibited during part of their stay. One day prior to their departure, Mrs. Tiffany came to me and listed several things about our guest cottage that left them unsatisfied, NEVER having mentioned any of this during their stay. After they left, I investigated, wanting to make sure everything was good for our next guests. I could not substantiate any of her complaints and in one case found it to be completely fabricated. I would not rent to this couple again.

Best location on Coronado Island

Perfect and best residential locationon Coronado. 5 houses from the beach, 1.5 blocks from heart of downtown and 2 blocks from the Del Coronado hotel. Small apartment easily serves 1 to 2 people and is well maintained and has about everything you need. While there's no laundry, there is a laundry 1 block away.. Good price and great location. Owners communicated well and quickly whenever needed.

Great location

This is a small but efficient unit a stones throw from the beach. Close enough to walk to Starbucks, Von’s, laundry and 1/2 block from the beach! Safe, secure and beautiful property.

Wonderful in Every Way

This one-bedroom guest cottage is fabulous -- perfect for a single adult or couple. Incredible location, warm, safe, quiet, cozy and fitted with more creature comforts than one can possibly need. The hosts are lovely, hospitable people who are there for you if needed but don't interfere in your life. I stayed nearly three weeks while relocating and look forward to coming back again for a vacation stay.

We had a great time in this quaint guest house. We were so close to the beach and could walk to everything. Andy was fantastic to work with and I would highly recommend as a great vacation getaway.
