Gorgeous Renovated in 2020 Ocean View Home- Perfect Family Vacation

This stunning 4BR/4.5BA ocean-view home in Hermosa Heights overlooks Playa Hermosa and Playa Panama.

Although its location may make the Blue Flag village of Playa Hermosa feel somewhat isolated, the small but well-developed town offers many amenities. Playa Hermosa, which translates to Beautiful Beach, is located in northern Guanacaste Province. Keep in mind that Costa Rica has several beaches named Playa Hermosa, including near Jaco, Santa Teresa, and Uvita, but the one where this lovely home is located is in Guanacaste. The Liberia International is the closest airport, at about 30 minutes away.

This absolutely fabulous custom ocean-view home overlooks the Blue Flag beach of Playa Hermosa. With a total renovation completed in 2020, this beauty allows you to be as active as you can imagine on a Costa Rica vacation, or relax thoroughly poolside or ocean in a setting you'll never forget. Our in-house adventures desk is at the ready to assist you with your vacation rental needs to experience all that our lovely country has to offer.

From the custom design pool, you will be charmed by the views of overlooks two bays, that of Playa Hermosa and of Playa Panama. The spacious outdoor patio and terrace will allow you to enjoy the magnificent tropical environment in comfort.  The BBQ Grill located poolside along with a well-appointed outdoor dining set allow you to enjoy the best of dining alfresco. Should you wish to hire someone to prepare local delicacies in the gourmet kitchen or eat out at one of the many excellent restaurants in town or on the beach, feel free to contact our in-house concierge to assist with your culinary wishes.

This magnificent and modern concept house, well-appointed, 4 bedroom- 4.5 bathroom house in the gated community of Hermosa Heights, sleeps 11.

Beautiful Hermosa Beach is spread out before you, which offers snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, and surfing tours that leave right from the beach. Local adventure activities for the whole family, including zip-line canopy tours above the tropical forest, estuary excursions, horseback riding, volcanoes, hot springs and waterfalls are all within an hour`s drive.

*Upon the development of the community of Hermosa Heights, there are some houses under construction near this property. Please note that we recommend to have a 4x4 vehicle to access this rental home.*

The pictures of the property were 100% accurate of the property! Alex the property manager did an excellent job of communicating with us! It was perfect for our family of 12! Being able to cook some of our own meals was made very easy due to the kitchen being stocked! When we went to the beach, we asked for Beach chairs and Alex delivered them to the house within an hour! The propane tank ran out a few times and after sending a msg to Alex, he had it refilled when we were out during the day, ready for the evening! ( he did this 3 times for us)! Grocery store at the bottom of the hill had most items we needed. Views and sunsets are breathtaking! Less than 5 min drive to beaches and restaurants! 100% recommend this house!!

Absolutely amazing!!!

The house is amazing, the views even better, the service of the management company is incredible!!! Pictures don’t do justice! We were two families and had an amazing experience. Our concierge helped us schedule an incredible tour to Rincon de la Vieja Volcano and recommended amazing restaurants! We can’t say enough! Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home with a spectacular ocean view.

We just returned from an incredible family trip to Playa Hermosa, and staying at this stunning ocean-view home made it absolutely perfect. The house is beautifully renovated, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and adventure. With 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, it comfortably accommodated our group of 7.The gated community of Hermosa Heights felt safe and peaceful, and the home itself was spotless and well-maintained. Every detail, from the comfy beds to the stocked bathrooms, made us feel right at home.

Pictures do not do this house justice. The views are stunning. The house is super clean and equipped with everything you need. Alex, the house manager is amazing! He is super attentive and quickly answered any questions we had. I highly recommend staying in this home. We will be back for sure!

Gorgeous home

This house is absolutely beautiful! Our group consisted of 3 adults and 3 children who were all thrilled with our stay. The views are unbelievable and every room in the house takes advantage of that. The pool area is wonderful and we spent most of our time out there. Beds are really comfortable and the whole place was well-stocked and clean. The property managers were helpful and responsive to requests for recommendations. A few notes that may be helpful to others: 1) There is a mini-golf course and a community pool (with water slides) that can be accessed. Our kids enjoyed both. 2) Yes, the road leading up to the house is quite steep but we didn't have any trouble with a 4WD vehicle. 3) There are some windows in the bedrooms that are not covered, so they get quite bright early in the morning. Just something to be aware of if you are not a morning person. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful house

We had our family of 6 stay for a week. The house was amazing! Amazing views, clean, pool was nice. The outside area was our favorite! I definitely recommend renting a car. The hill was steep! Alex from Zindis was amazing to work with. The gated property was a plus for us to feel safe. The house was nice inside! We never wanted to leave! 10/10 recommend .

Amazing Ocean View Home

This home has amazing views of the ocean from every room. Our family enjoyed the pool and hot tub daily. The location of this home is great, close to the local grocery store. Alex the House Manager was amazing he answered all our questions very quickly. Javier arranged transportation for some of our guests and was very helpful and attentive. The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare home cooked meals including the BBQ. We had the chef Andrey and his wife prepare a meal for our family and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you to all that made this family vacation one of our best trips ever. We will be back we love Costa Rica and the people.

Christmas in CR

This was an amazing property! The property AND views were spectacular. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for 8 as was the family table. There was plenty of outside seating to relax. We used the fire pit almost every night to make S’mores! India’s team was soooo welcoming and ready to assist us with group activities within minutes!! So glad we could lean on them for accurate recommendations. We ordered groceries to be sent before we arrived which was perfect to have after a long day of travel. Our only minor issue was that the pool was too chilly for our tastes 78degrees) and thought the hot tub was actuslly a hot tub- but it wasn’t. Otherwise- wonderful get away for our family!!

Amazing Views

This home exceeded all expectations. The rooms were incredibly spacious, and the outdoor amenities offered a peaceful and therapeutic experience. Costa Rica Getaway

We traveled for a spring/senior trip with another family. There were 2 sets of parents and their 6 kids (3 boys, 3 girls), aged 12-20. This house was perfect for our situation and had plenty of space. We were a little worried about the bedrooms because there were reviews that said you had to go through one room to get to the other. However, each room had a patio door to the pool so it was easy for the older kids to go outside and walk around if they wanted. All rooms had their own bathrooms which was nice. We had no trouble fitting in showers and space to get ready. The sunset was amazing from the pool deck and we spent a lot of time in the pool. We also used the grill multiple times. This house was a highlight of the trip and would come highly recommended!

Amazing property with wonderful indoor and outdoor space

We stayed at this wonderful property with friends. The kitchen is spacious and had everything we needed. We also used the grill for a few meals. The outdoor space is beautiful with several seating and lounging options. The pool was large enough to accommodate eight adults. We had an amazing view of the ocean from high up on the hill. Playa Hermosa has many options for bars and restaurants. It was a lovely stay. The layout of the house would be great for a family (or two).

Family Vacation 2023

The property was beautiful!! Sitting atop a mountain, we called it the ‘cabin in the clouds”😍 There were only three in our party, two guests had to cancel due to health issues. Other than the raccoons foraging at night, we had no complaints. The property could accommodate a large group comfortably. It was a lovely way to spend our time in CR.

Great House

We loved our stay at Sunset Ridge. The house was perfect for our family and the views were outstanding! There’s great restaurants close by and a market just at the bottom of the hill for food and drinks. Would definitely recommend!

Costa Rica house

Very nice view. Nice renovated house, but this place is aging. They had to change the dishwasher after 3x nights not working. They do not have any pool heating. They charged us 150$USD for a broken chair that we did not even used, or that was probably broken before our visit. Forth room is attached to room number 3, so no privacy.

Paradise at Sunset Ridge

My husband and I stayed at Sunset Ridge along with 2 other couples. The house was beautiful and the view from the pool/patio was spectacular! There was plenty of space in the home for all of us and it was especially nice that each of the bedrooms had an ensuite bathroom. It should be noted that the bedroom with the bunk beds can only be accessed from in the house via one of the other bedrooms or from outside. The road to the house from the entrance to the complex was extremely steep. I don't think I've ever seen a road as steep. If you are fit and active, you can climb the hill but it is truly a workout. It is not a pleasant walk at all. I'm not sure that you could do the climb with sandals or flip flops. I would highly recommend a car rental. Playa Hermosa has a great beach with several decent restaurants in town and nearby. There is also a small grocery store in Playa Hermosa that has any day to day items you might need including, wine, beer and spirits. The grocery store in Playa Coco is a large American style grocery store that would have anything you are looking for. Lastly, I'd like to note that Emmanuel at Zindus was fantastic to work with! He patiently answered all of my questions prior to our arrival and was available during our stay to assist with the booking of private chef (highly recommend) and a couple of excursions.

As beautiful as it looks!

Our first visit to Costa Rica was dreamy! We traveled with our family and my brother’s family to celebrate a big birthday; 4 adults and 5 young cousins. The house was perfect, both the property and the views are as beautiful as the pictures make it look. The weather, our time together, the property manager, and all our local adventures were amazing. Book while you still can!

Una celebración inolvidable

La propiedad es simplemente espectacular!!las fotos y descripciones no le haven justicia, perfectamente equipada, no le falta nada, eso si no olviden rentar vehículo, o llevar el propio la propiedad se ubica en lo alto de un residencial con unas vistas increíble pero como todo lo alto cuenta con una subida importante. Otra observación a tomar en cuenta es que el último cuarto donde se encuentran los camarotes se comunica por una misma puerta a uno de los cuartos con cama queen es decir para entrar y salir hay que pasar por ese cuarto a no ser que se use la salida a la terraza por la puerta de vidrio. Un reconocimiento a nuestra administradora de propiedad Milena que fue sumamente atenta y diligente al atender nuestras necesidades.

Nothing short of Amazing!!

This trip was perfect from the beginning to end. All of the staff was very accommodating, and we never had any issues. Paula was fantastic!! The views from this house was amazing. We woke up every morning around 6am, and stayed outside until it was time for activities. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Beauty on the Hill

Stunning views from the very top of the hill overlooking Hermosa! We enjoyed quiet times with two couples during the first week and lots of excursions during the second week with our adult children. Lots of room around the pool for both the sun-seekers and shade-seekers. The house had everything we needed! While the big groceries stores in Playa Coco were a quick run, the two markets in Hermosa were perfect for most days.
