Charming and beautifully appointed, Gate Street Cottage is the perfect place for a romantic and memorable retreat. Prices are subject to change daily.

-3 Bathrooms – 2 walk-in shower ensuites and tub plus separate shower ensuite
-Hosts up to 6 guests (including infants and children)
-Private parking for up to 2 vehicles, contactless check in
-Central heating, and air conditioning
-High speed WiFi and cable TV with Amazon Firestick for your streaming apps
Gate Street Cottage has been lovingly restored and features all the modern conveniences mixed with original hardwood floors, a claw foot tub, picket fence and a covered porch.
Gate Street Cottage has a large living room with flat screen TV to enjoy movies with enough room for the whole group! Perfect for a rainy day.
A separate dining room with seating for 6 and beautiful kitchen with granite countertops:
-Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee, tea, and sugar to get you started
-Flat top stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher
-Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses)
-Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths
-Salt and pepper
The main floor laundry is located next to the kitchen supplied with:
-Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets
Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo, and hand soap are also provided.
The main floor bedroom has a king bed with lots of drawer and closet space and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs, there is a king bedroom with a seating area and ensuite with both walk-in shower and claw foot tub. Also upstairs, the queen bedroom with ensuite features a large walk-in shower with rainfall shower head.
Outside, relax on the generous front porch and watch the people and occasional horse and carriage pass by. Sit on the back deck while dinner cooks on the BBQ/grill. Lounge in the sunshine of the back garden or take in the cool shade of the pine tree.
Set amongst lush gardens, this more than 100-year-old cottage is just steps from the many offerings that Canada's most picturesque town has to offer. Take a short stroll to the many world-class restaurants, Shaw Festival Theatres, and quaint boutiques that line downtown Queen Street. Visit the Niagara wineries, breweries and distilleries scattered throughout the area.

Gate Street Cottage was the perfect place to stay for our visit to NOTL! The Cottage was very clean and well-stocked with kitchen utensils, towels, paper products, etc. The location is great, with an easy walk to the shops and restaurants on Queen Street. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location. We walked to the Shaw Theater to see a fantastic play. We walked to restaurants and the park along the lake. We walked to fun shops and a wonderful grocery store. The town is so beautiful even though we were there during the smoke from the wildfires. The front porch is the perfect spot to have a morning cup of tea and watch the people walking by. The indoor space was even better than it looks in the photos. We definitely recommend this rental.

Disappointed that the overnight cost listed on the app did not include the Vrbo fee, resulting in a higher per night cost than initially planned for.The home was lovely, beautifully located, and we were very happy with our stay!

My husband, our friends and I had the best time here! Loved the home and the close proximity to the shops and restaurants. Will definitely be back, for sure.

A Great Place To Stay
We had a wonderful time at this location. The front porch was a highlight, and we enjoyed sitting out there for a cup of coffee in the morning and some local wine in the evening.

Very nice. It suited all our needs and we were quite happy. We would book here again. The location was perfect. The shower head in the downstairs bathroom needs to be changed out. And providing soap and shampoo in the showers is not a must, but it would have been a nice to have. And trimming back some of the plant growth around the property, especially along the driveway, would help.

Perfect location
Fantastic location! Within a short walk to shops and restaurants. Very clean, and the perfect layout for 3 couples. Would stay here again!

Great location and stay
Nice house layout with perfect location. Loved the three bathrooms ( downstairs shower had a height issue!) Would stay again in a heartbeat! All amenities were as promised!

Perfect location, perfect cottage
Amazing location making sure that all of our family were able to walk to the Main Street just two doors away.
We loved the theee bedrooms each with their own en suite and found the kitchen well appointed.

Perfect location for exploring and relaxing
Lovely house in the centre of Niagara on the Lake. Beautiful location to relax and close enough for touring Niagara Falls and the local area. Being able to walk to restaurants for dinner was added bonus.

Sister Trip
My three sisters and I stayed at the Gate Street Cottage. It was perfect accommodations - clean, comfortable, great location and perfect for relaxing after the day’s adventures. We always look forward to our “sister trips” and this house enabled us to spend great time together.
