In the Heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake
The Flynn House is situated steps away from the quaint downtown Queen Street area where you will find world class restaurants, the Shaw Festival and local boutiques. It is also conveniently located near some of Ontario’s most famous wineries.
It was built in the 1860's by George Flynn (a shoemaker) for his family and later during World War II, it was the meeting place for the Knights of Columbus. Rich in history, the home has recently been restored to feature modern amenities while maintaining the property’s old world charm such as wide plank floors and French doors.
The Flynn House sleeps up to 8 people and features two full bathrooms and one powder room with a sink and toilet, four bedrooms, a large dining room and living room and a fully equipped kitchen.
We offer a smoke-free, pet-free environment. All towels and linens are included. Open year-round.
Looking for something more quaint? You made be interested in our sister property - The Swinton Cottage - located just a few blocks away.

We quickly and comfortably settled into our lovely “home” for our 4-night stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Flynn House had everything we could possibly need for our amazing stay. You can’t get a better location! We walked everywhere and loved doing so. Our host quickly answered any questions that we had.

Perfect location for enjoying historic downtown and the waterfront. Many lovely wineries nearby. St Catherine's is close by as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

A beautiful, historic home complete with all the charm of yesteryear. The location is ideal, no need to get in the car which makes for a true vacation. We all loved everything about it except for we couldn’t find chalk to write a note of gratitude on the kitchen blackboard.

Location couldn’t have been any better the size perfect plenty of space for everybody the backyard although we didn’t spend too much time in it was great would recommend for a large group. We were eight people, and everybody had plenty of space and privacy as well.!

The house needs real renovation so and the owners need to make sure it’s free of mice because clearly there is a mouse living in the house

I would strongly recommend that this guest not rent a heritage-style home in the future, as she fails to understand that we go to great lengths to retain the homes' original character. As for the alleged mouse issue, this guest admitted to me that she may have left the kitchen door open and that she did leave leftover food on the kitchen countertop overnight. This property sits on a wooded area where there are field mice, and these mice are being disturbed at the current time as a result of our neighbours undergoing construction and removal of trees. Nevertheless, we quickly addressed the issue even though it was likely caused by their actions, and she was very grateful for our prompt response to her concerns.

Was an amazing stay with the family! The communication with the owner was incredible! The location is absolutely amazing. We had the best stay and will hopefully be back at some point. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!!

Terrific location and property
Great place and location. The property manger was great to work with and we had a great time.

Great stay! Very clean. A few minor issues but owners very willing to assist. Always available when called. Great location to downtown amenities.

Beautiful Home
This was a beautiful home to stay in. So close to downtown, nice big back yard to sit in, and a beautiful home inside. Would definitely stay there again!

Great Stay
We had a great time at NOTL. The Flynn House was a great location for us. We were able to walk to everything. Plenty of space as well. We enjoyed our stay there.
