Located in the heart of Deer Valley, in the sought-after Silver Lake Village area is this stunning Deer Valley Black Bear 250. This condo offers easy access to skiing in winter and hiking in summer. The community sits mid-mountain, just across the street from the Silver Lake Lodge, giving you some of the best access to the slopes and other resort activities.

The home offers a spacious 1,200 square feet, two master suites, three bathrooms, to easily sleep up to six guests in comfort.

When you enter this condo through the front door, you'll step through the foyer and right into the main living area offering the living room, kitchen and dining areas. This property has a mountain cabin ambiance to give you a true getaway feel.

Living Room: Within the living room, you'll enjoy comfortable leather furnishings (including a queen sofa sleeper), a cozy gas fireplace with a stunning rock front and timber mantle, along with a TV/DVD. Step out onto the deck to take in some mountain air and gorgeous views.

Kitchen: The group's chef will love the large kitchen space that come equipped with all the utensils and equipment needed to prepare the group's favorite meals and snacks. There are stainless appliances and lots of tiled counter space. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack at the convenient kitchen bar with seating for three.

Christmas getaway.

My wife and I took a few days for ourselves before Christmas. We love skiing together and having time together. The condo was very comfortable and we enjoyed our evenings playing cards and going out for dinner near by.

The property was in a beautiful location

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It was close to Stein Erickson Lodge and Silver Lake. There were restaurants within walking distance and plenty of places to hike. It’s only a short drive to Main Street where we enjoyed the art fest and dinner out. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Best ski accommodations ever!

We couldn't believe how spacious this unit was. We each had our own bathroom, plenty of room to cook, and room to spread out and relax. Beautifully decorated and solid wood furniture. A couple minute walk to ski lifts!

Nice condo, Nice experience.

This unit is quite nice, modern, well equipped, everything works well. Experience would be enhanced by a hot tub. Construction in front of the unit was quiet and not disturbing.

Perfect location and comfortable home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Black Bear lodge is a short walk to the Silverlake Lodge and I would say the most desirable part of the mountain. The unit is very comfortable and easy access to common pool , jacuzzi. Elevator is close to parking garage so getting luggage up to unit was a breeze. Property management company was fantastic. Concierge service (Liddy) was top notch. Made transportation arrangements to SLC, dinner reservations etc. Will definitely come back.

Crunchy mattress

Great location. Walk 200 feet to the slopes. Little bit loud bc of layout of buildings. They need to remove the plastic mattress protectors. Too loud and too sterile.

Fantastic location - walk to lift at mid-mountain Easy check-in and out Elevator wasn't always working - a problem with ski boots! Hot tub and pool were not open? This was the only drawback

Black Bear Stay

The location is great, just a short walk to the ski slopes. We had an issue with a broken set of drawers in the bedroom and contacted the management staff. Vince came out late in the day and spent over an hour fixing the issue. Wish this had been noticed before we came to the unit, but things happen. Other than that, all was great during our stay, especially the snow!

Excellent location

Great 2 bedroom 3 bath condo that is a short walk to lifts at Deer Valley. Well appointed, clean and comfortable. One suggestion is to add drapes in the bedrooms as lights outside the windows prevent the bedrooms from getting dark.

Pluses and Minuses

Our stay at Black Bear Lodge was very good with a few caveats. Terrific location across from the Goldener Hirsch and a short walk from the ski lifts at Deer Valley. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Kitchen was not: appliances were low end and the garbage disposal had to be reset twice. The property has a courtesy shuttle but it is only for Adobe clients. The front desk was kind enough to offer us a complimentary ride to and from downtown anyway. Sounded good but when we called to request a ride home we were stuck in an endless loop in Black Bear Lodge’s phone system. After 20 minutes on hold we gave up and called an Uber. Message: if your going to offer people something, make sure that you can deliver.

Slid in under the wire

Great to be able to walk across the street to the lifts. Super convenient. Very comfortable rental. Glad we got a few days of skiing in before I was locked up at home!

Amazing time at Deer Valley

This was our family’s first ski trip together, with three kids ages 3 to 7. We had so much fun that we’re already planning our next trip! The Black Bear Lodge was the perfect location with many delicious restaurants within walking distance, reserved underground parking space, fully stocked kitchen, etc. Our accommodations were extremely comfortable for our family! We will definitely try to stay here again!

Noisey Location

Directly across the street they are doing a lot of construction. The construction started daily at 7:30 AM. Saturdays and Sundays were enjoyable because the construction was not going on at the time. Great location within walking distance to Silver Lake Village.

Perfect location, setup and value for DV

This was our second year in a row staying at Black Bear Lodge. The location can not be beat unless you pay far more for slope-side. It is a great value for DV as the unit is clean, comfortable, well-kept, and in a great location, both in DV and relative to the BBL elevator, hot tub/pool, street, etc. While this unit does not have it’s own hot tub on the balcony, the BBL hot tub is just 50 feet away. Close enough to get in/out quickly but not so close to hear a lot of noise from it. The folks at reception are very friendly and helpful, even though we did not rent from Wyndham. We will return!

Great ski vacation!

Had a great stay. Unit is close to everything in Silverlake Village. Very close to the community hot tub and pool which our kid loved.

Wonderful Location

This was our first stay mid-mountain at Deer Valley and we never want to stay at the base again. Really great location for a condo - convenient to all Silver Lake amenities, most importantly, the ski concierge, the Stein Erikson and the Goldener Hirsch. Only criticism is that the arrival instructions need to be changed. The instructions we received said that if we were arriving after 7:00 pm, the lobby would be closed and we must park in the outside lot and walk across the street and past the firehouse to get to the condo. We would have done this, but it was cold and snowing heavily and we couldn't face moving everything so far and across a dark road. So we drove by the lobby and discovered that it doesn't close until midnight. Then we went into the underground parking, and parked in the spot reserved for our condo. We took the elevator nearby and found the condo not far from the elevator. It was so easy! And there is no need to go through the lobby, so even if you arrive after midnight, you can park in the garage and move in. The condo itself was roomy and comfortable and perfectly maintained. We think it was a bargain and will be back if we can get the same great deal next year. Thanks!
